Went with a few friends out to lunch at Aston Diner. We ordered breakfast and dinner meals, and everything was great. The food was delicious. Would like to see more restaurants offer French vanilla creamer for coffee but other than that, we had a great experience for our first time here. I am looking forward to a return trip.
9/14/23 Breakfast. Great coffee! I love the Lacas brand. It's stronger than the typical coffee dinners serve. I had 2 eggs over easy with rye toast that I asked the server to burn (and she did)! Very enjoyable. The plate was hot to the touch - another thing I enjoyed.
My wife had the 3 eggs and ribeye steak breakfast (which meant I got one of her eggs and some steak. I thought the steak was delicious. A very enjoyable experience! Very Good.

Was down in this area for a hockey game at the ice rink up the street so this was on our way home and we decided to just stop here for a quick bite to eat. I will see the place has plenty of parking as well lit up and it was clean inside. They have a very big menu for being a diner what’s a very good selection of food anywhere from appetizers all the way to seafood platters. I can only speak to the food that we ate the day we were there. I just ordered a cheeseburger and french fries I honestly forget the name of the cheeseburger that I ordered however it has something to him that was an old underneath the cheese on the top in the bottom of the burger. This was my own fault for not reading the menu good enough noticing that that was on there, easy enough though I just pulled it off and did not eat it. The burger was just very bland it tasted like one of the freezer store-bought kind, there really wasn’t any taste to it at all it was just eating to eat at that point. It was very disappointing because I really wanted a delicious cheeseburger that day. My daughter just ordered Sweet potato fries with ranch which she enjoyed. The prices were good and the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I’m really not that big of a fan of diner style food and like I said this was just on my way home so I stopped in however I’m not so sure I will be back again. If you like diners and are in the area go ahead and give it a try.
The restaurant appears to be clean, however, the food was disgusting. I have eaten breakfast on 3rd shift there that was good... But their dinners are disgusting. We had onion soup that had no flavor and cheap cheese on everything. Had no taste at all. We had chicken quesadilla... New seasonings it had no flavor. We had BLTs... Runny cheap cheese... Have you ever seen runny american before?... Even the vegetables had no flavor... We had pork roll, egg, and Runny american cheese on a croissant....no flavor at all. We both taste all of the food we ordered.... And all of it had no taste... New flavor... Just nasty. I would rather have gone to McDonald's. Will never eat there again. It used to be good 6 years ago... But not now. Don't waste your money going there you will be highly disappointed.
Good food, fair pricing, and excellent wait staff. For those of you who follow me you’re aware that I always report on the restroom facilities. My belief is that a business who invests in clean and stocked restrooms is committed to A+ service all around. The Aston Diner is one of these fabulous places and kudos to the decorator who showcased these delightful stars and stripes. ????
Food was good and server was pleasant, but assistant manager was very curt with me; he cut me off regarding a request I had asked of him...he was "too busy."
I spoke with the head manager, Tracy, and she couldn't be nicer..she went over and beyond helping me with my request. High praise for her help and courtesy towards me. Thank you, Tracy.
From five star to one star. Ordered one cheesesteak with fried onions and one with extra cheese and mayo. Got two cheesesteaks with fried onions, extra cheese and mayo. The guy on the phone even double checked to make sure he had the order correct. Besides that these cheesesteaks never should have been packaged with literally a quarter inch of grease in the carton.
Staff is always very friendly, efficient and polite. Every dish is delicious but my go to is the omelets. They have a great team all around and can’t wait to go back!
