I have never been to an Arby's this big or this good. They sell whole chicken meals here! I had the beef and cheddar and it's without a doubt the most well made one I have ever had. If you're in town stop by the world's biggest Arby's you won't be disappointed.
Definitely worth visiting. The inside was huge and decorated like a lodge. The food was fresh and delicious.
Apparently this is the world's largest Arby's, so we drove 40 minutes out of the way to get here. It is big and fancy, and they have offerings not found at a normal Arby's. But, they also have the standard Arby's items also. The food was good and the service was friendly, but the prices did seem to be a bit higher than other Arby's. Fancy interior with a lot of seating, including an outdoor area.
Arbz once again exceeds the expectations of what fast food can be. This location is particularly unique because it happens to be the largest one in the whole wide world. I've always referred to it as the "Arby's Lodge" for its grand structure and rustic decor.
This location also seems to offer a Barbacoa section to the side that appears to offer Tacos, Quesadillas, and such. However, I'm not sure if its availability is based on certain hours or days because I've literally never seen anyone over there. So, I guess that's cool?
Settled on the Smokehouse Brisket this go-round. They proved to "Have the Meats" with this puppy and did NOT skimp on the beef.
Highly recommended!
It was an amazing time visiting this Arby's in PETERSBURG VA. We were told that this particular franchise was the LARGEST in the ????!! ????????????
The food was so good and I wish we had Arby's in Philly.
People should really consider hosting events in this space whether inside or the outside space (double pavilion size). ????????????????????????????❣️
Most recent visit today may 1st , stopped for lunch and extremely disappointed , got the roast beef deluxe, the bun fell apart as soon as I picked it up, the tomatoes were not ripe , sour and hard ! Arby's use to be the best fast food around! What happened????
Usually on point with food but this was awful
Around, the holidays life usually gets a little hectic. Am I right? Between working, family, and getting ready for Christmas sometimes there is little time to cook a good dinner. My wife and I decided on Friday, December 8th to do some Christmas shopping before heading home. It was getting late so we decided to get some take-out.
I believe we ordered 2 double roast beef, a slider, mozzarella sticks, and a curly fry. The bread used for the roast beef sandwiches was stale. I don't mean day old, I mean bread that falls apart when you get ready to bite. I hadn't eaten all day so this was my only meal. Having worked at 2 bread companies in the late 90's through way past 2010 I can assure you I know what stale bread taste like. My duties were to order bread for Arby's and dozens of other restaurant chains. Our bread never stayed in the account more than 3 days to guarantee freshness. We didn't have computers back in the day so all records were written in a log book. I was trained to have enough bread for lunch and dinner the 1st day. Lunch and dinner for day two. However, only lunch for day three. We delivered daily except for Wednesday and Sunday. The bread I got was either old or is being kept in the walk-in to extend the shelf life. One company where I was the area sales director for the fast food division even made the onion rolls for them. Fresh bread is the cornerstone on a not just sandwich but the meal. I was exhausted and didn't want to "go back and argue with someone about the poor quality of food." Colonial Heights is the mecca of food choices around Southpark Mall. Over, the years we have written off several restaurants due to poor customer service, and getting food that is sold way beyond it's recommended shelf life. Having worked as a restaurant manager for a decade and I know how watching the bottom line is important. I can honestly say in both companies I worked for I increased sales by double digit because I was strict on keeping fresh food. It takes 4 minutes to cook fies, so no customer should have cold or old fries. My bread vendor was told upfront my expectations and it was enforced. This visit we spent $18.33. It's not a lot but if the rest of the family is home it can be as high as $60. We used the app for convenience and believe it is a good choice. I have noticed that it is easier for a clerk to read an order than hearing it in the drive-thru. For me, it's going to be a long time before I return to this location. We usually have hamburger buns or a type of sub bun I could have used but didn't. Since I had put sauce on my sandwich I was forced after removing the bread to eat it with a fork. SMH. Now I am sure I will be told the bread was within the expiration limits set by the bread company and/or Arby's corporate. However, we have eaten at this location and other Arby's around town to know that the quality of the bread was not fresh.
This used to be a great Arby's. I am not sure what happened to it. I may have just gone at a late hour before closing on this particular day. The response was slow, and all the ice tea had been removed from the customer drink fountain area.
I hope to try them again in the future and discover they are back to the great restaurant they used to be. It did not look like there was an Arby's Mocha machine there anymore, but the advertising graphics were still posted. Maybe they are getting ready to make changes, or the machines were out for repair. There was another area in the front of the restaurant that used to be additional food service with fresh vegetables, corn, green beans, potatoes, Mac & Cheese but now it appears empty and defunct. The restaurant seating area is still nice and can accommodate larger groups, and there is a nice fireplace. There is also a nice outdoor seating area. I hope this place stays successful and open. I have been to this restaurant probably hundreds of times over the years since it has been open. It would be disappointing for it to close. Arby's is a good brand and good food.
