I had a check engine light come on and they could see me right away. They took care of the problem quickly and for a reasonable price.

I gave them for 4 stars cause they try get you to buy all dealers parts so your bill stays high and they make more work so your obligated to pay.... they cut the gas lines an want you to pay to replace them at your expense but just because they see lil rust

The shop charges an arm and a leg for labor and parts. They charged 130 dollars per hour for diagnostic time, and charged 120 to 130 dollars per hour for labor to change brakes. It takes them 2 hours to change brakes and an hour for diagnostic time, so multiply that. The parts themselves are marked up , i.e. the price is double the price of a regular auto parts store - there are no deals here. After paying close to a thousand dollars I came home with an engine light on. The only thing they price reasonably is an oil change, which they did not even do. There is nothing exceptional here, only exceptionally feeling ripped off. The brakes feel soft, not firm. The good ratings are misleading. Should have read the bad ratings, they seem accurate.

I had a 2011 Hyundai Sante Fe.I brought me car here and spoke with Tom Jr. He told me what was wrong and I thought fixed it. I waited several days till I called. They were gonna work on it and my car will be available soon. I picked my car up and started to drive it when it cut off in me again. I called and left messages for Tom and never received phone call back. My warranty was charged almost $1800 for a problem that didn't get fixed. If your too busy to have good customer service just tell the customer at that time . Since then my truck sits. I had a good mechanic at Amity Mobile but our friend past away. If your looking for honesty and good customer service look elsewhere unless your driving a luxury car.

Recently had my front axle replaced for my Acura TL. As a first time customer, I was treated like VIP. Tom answered all my questions and kept me updated as the mechanics worked on my car. Fairly priced. Job well done by his team. Very professional and reliable. Communication is never an issue. Safe to say I have found a permanent auto repair shop here in New Haven and no doubt I will be coming back here for future services. Highly recommend!

All the Tom's are fantastic. I had my check engine light turn on and they fixed it up same day. As a daughter of a mechanic, it's important to me that I have a mechanic I can trust. Aquila is my shop of choice.

A friend recommended Aquila to me and I just got my first oil change and tire rotation. It cost more than I expected but they said it's due to the special oil for my car. Very nice service. And my car was ready earlier than expected!
