Nice place, amazing bartenders who can make you a custom cocktail, friendly people, all in all the mood was great. The only thing that put a dent in all that was the DJ. This dude did not read the room - changing the beats like a 10yr old, without continuity - at one point, after he played "Hypnotize" by BIG, he went and put some 2019's dance hit ????
Aqua Lounge, if you're reading this, change the DJ - the guy before knew what he was doing.
This is the lounge bar inside of the fashion island hotel. It's a big open space concept lounge. There is amply seating for groups of any size. Also, booths for some privacy. Only knock on this place is that on weekend nights it turns into a night club. The music is loud and security is everywhere. Drinks are priced for fashion island, be prepared.
Very great atmosphere. The bartenders and servers are so great and fun. And this is during happy hour. A must visit if in Newport Beach.
Drinks were good, but pricey for what they were. The bartender was nice, but a waitress asked us to move because another Christmas party was supposed to be in the area in which we were seated, but nobody was there, and there was a huge open area. We had a cocktail the previous night, and everything was fine. On this occasion the young lady left us with no other place to sit because this other holiday party was actually seated at the bar, instead of the area in which they had reserved. We ended up leaving, because we didn't plan on standing in our holiday party dresses.
Great place for a good happy hour! Very clean and spacious. The blue lighting really sets the mood. The bartender and waitresses are very friendly and they pour some pretty stiff drinks! Keep up the good work!
Nice lounge... turns into a bit of a look show, but cool vibes. Older crowd, but not overly; would say a 28 - 30 plus demo with spots of older and younger. Music is pretty much top 40 and drinks are priced for the area $$$. I'd say an average three drink night would run $50 - $60 depending on how you tip. The plus is there is no cover and it's more a dressy casual. Worth a visit, not much of a date night as it is more girls or guys night out.
Nice ambiance good selection of drinks available, drinks can be little expensive so visiting on Happy hour is recommended.
The valet was courteous and efficient. The environment was clean and friendly. Sat at the bar and was served promptly. Staff treated my wife well when leaving bar area(setting up for busy club night) they do take bar stools before the DJ starts but are nice about it. We will go back.
