Everything was great here 2nd time here and it's been great both visits ... food was cooked to perfection and server/bartender (Brittany) was really great and very helpful... would love to come back anytime
Very nice place! Service was awesome! The only reason for 4 stars is the blue cheese dressing is not great. Melissa H does an awesome job!
Hostess was horrible! Too busy playing on her phone and playing hand clapping games with another host named Jose. Server was nonexistent at all times. Had to wait forever for a server to come to our table. Had to ask the host and she rolled her eyes and went to get her. Server never attended her tables. Everyone in her secretion sat waiting long wait times for service. She didn’t follow up on refills, even asking how the food was, or if we needed anything. Bartender was dumping her purse out in front of customers on the bar top and people had to seat themselves at times because lack of hostess. Manager is never in sight to get help. Corporate needs to come and reevaluate this restaurant. The atmosphere may have had a remodel, but all of the staff is unprofessional!
The carpets could use a good cleaning... The service was lacking... We ordered an appetizer and it was forgotten, on the brighter side, we were not charged for it... The tortilla burger was ok at best...
Very disappointed in Applebee's on 4/15/24. We looked forward to celebrating an occasion with drinks & dinner. The restaurant was not at all crowded, yet the service was unusually slow. In fact, we saw a party of 4 wait to be seated, but left after an extended wait. Our appetizer was delayed in coming & our meal (Whiskey Burger & Fries) was very greasy The fries weren't fresh & tasted as though they had been re-heated. Before we were finished our meal, the waitress was vacuuming the entire aisle, as 3 booths if customers were eating. To her credit, our waitress was friendly, however she never acknowledged or apologized for the wait. Again, we were very disappointed, as this has never been our experience at this Applebee's.
Our server was good and tried. The food was terrible! Steak was extremely over cooked. There were tons of random chunks of cucumber in our Mac and cheese. The damn drink wasn’t even right from the bar. (I worked at Applebees for yrs.) my son’s kids meal was the only thing hot. $85.00 and ended up feeding it to our dog. Nothing was done. Not even an offer to fix it. I would choose somewhere else! It was a waste of money.
I'd recently moved from East Indy, and after dining at that particular Applebee's the last 2 times, I said, "I'm never coming to Applebee's again!"
FFW a couple of years, and I'm back to my hometown of Anderson,and I'm out late Saturday with my daughter, who enjoys Applebee's burgers. So I reluctantly decided to eat there and to my surprise, this Applebees was quite enjoyable! I had a quesadilla burger and fries, and she had the classic, neighborhood burger and fries. Everything tasted great! The fries are always delicious! The service here was notable. That was my main issue with the East Indy Applebee's; terrible service. The sub-par food there was to be expected. ????
Also, Anderson's Applebee's keeps their place clean.
This was absolutely the worse resteruant experienced in my life and that is saying alot. We arrived it started off good then when down hill from there. 30 minutes before our waitress showed up to take our drink order. Which we ordered our entire meal. During this 30 minutes I watched numerous waitresses take orders and bring food none stop around us. Drinks arrived 35 minutes later our appetizer showed up then food. Didn't even get asked if we needed anything just delivered food and disappeared. This is where our experience turned into a work-a-raunt. First my wife had to go ask for condiments from another waitress, then another 30 minutes go by waitress showed up and asked for another drink. Never recieved by the way. Then when we were ready to pay and get a to go box I had to go ask for check and box from another waitress because once again ours was lost somewhere. 10 minutes later she shows up with the check went to pay on kiosk on table but it doesn't work, give her my card to pay. When we stood up to leave the assistant manager asked if everything was OK. I informed him it was not 2.5 hrs to have to basically do everything but actually cook our meal and pay 50 damn dollars for just the food which was alright. I was heated so we went ahead and left. Will never be back to Applebee's because this is the second time we have had this experience there once 4 yrs ago and now this yeah,
