What a great place to have a good time. When you step in, you immediately feel the foreign atmosphere, which is nice to feel when you are in the mood to experience something new. The service is welcoming and diligent. The restaurant is particular in the sense that in the same location you can try Mediterranean and Indian food. The counters are located side by side. My wife and I tried Mediterranean food this time. It was flavorful and the portions satisfying. We finished with baclava but they were not as good. We walked the attached supermarket and enjoyed browsing the incredible variety of foreign products. Definitely we will visit again.
We have been to APNA restaurant twice and they have got delicious food in affordable prices. We normally stop by on our shopping trip to APNA bazar. The biryani rice is always made perfect. Their paneer is excellent as well. There has been no place to complain about food.
But when I ordered paneer makhni and asked if it comes with rice they said yes and when asked later they said it didn’t come with rice. I could have ordered something else if I knew that earlier. So it’s very important that the front line people and servers there know well about the menu. I hope the service gets better.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered Spicy lamb biryani through Uber eats and when I received it, the food was BURNED. Every lamb meat pieces were BURN and the rest were bones. There were ashes in the rice and the box. The rice smelled like burned food. When I called they said you can come get another one next day. So when I was going to send another person the next day they refused !! They made up another reason WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD ME BEFORE. Very Horrible. Disgusting attitude of the female workers.
I did a take-out/to go order. I got the chicken Biryani, butter chicken and garlic Naan. The chicken Biryani doesn't taste or look like chicken biryani. The butter chicken has more oil and cream separation and garlic Naan was DRY and DOUGHY. For Indian cuisine, meals I would make the drive to JaxSpice or Masala Mantra. This was my first time however, I don't think it's worth me taking a second visit.
AMAZING authentic Indian cuisine!!! Hands down best Indian food in town!! This place is inside a little Indian/Pakistan shopping mall with a food court, and it's side by side to another restaurant 'Istanbul' ... best Hummus in town!!! The Lamb Shank was superbly soft and delicious
The building was interesting, and cool. But that isn't what this review is about. It's about the food. When I order chicken Tikka Massala, I expect some rice, MAYBE some Naan. Not a big deal if it doesn't come with Naan. Also, an adequate amount of chicken would be nice for $13. This is what I got. A little bowl of 11 bite sized pieces of chicken, not with a well tasting cream sauce that's a little thick. Oh no! This bad boy has 8th of an inch of oil on the top, and the cream is separating. Oh, and I asked for it to be spicy. I'm sure you can guess if it is or isn't.
I won't be coming back. No rice, no Naan, no decent amount of chicken, lack of flavor, not spicy when asked, more oil just sitting on the top than is required to fry 2 full sized chicken breasts, and make the sauce. Embarrassing.
I’m very disappointed I’m not sure what happened but ever since they moved to the new location the food has been horrible. I ordered chicken tiki marsala in the side of rice and the chicken was layered in oil I asked for spicy and nothing about my dish was spicy also I’m not sure what type of meat they’re using and they say it’s chicken but it’s not chicken breast I know what chicken looks like, take a look for yourself.
