Best WLM Reviews
Best pizza I’ve had outside of Boston. So saucy, so cheesy, delicious pepperoni flavor. We sat in the car and ate 4 slices we couldn’t wait to get home. This is my new go-to pizza spot! Can’t wait to try more of their food.
This was a good restaurant to try. The pizza did not disappoint, and the garlic knots were top notch. Two things I didn't love about the experience: 1) very long wait for food (training someone in the kitchen), but thankfully I had good company to pass the time. 2) Getting charged $4 per seltzer water. Prices on food going up are the norm these days, but for water...and that much? It wasn't a great surprise, but now at least I know should I return.
For what to expect, meal breakdown:
x2 small pizzas (they're huge) x1 garlic knots x2 seltzer waters = $78 + tip
Great staff, they're very friendly and good atmosphere to sit down for dinner.
Very nice experience. The pizza has a nice thin crust and the cheese was well flavored. Not too loud but we were there before 18:00. The asparagus appetizer was quite good but could have had a bit more sauce. Will return.
TLDR; Good location, decent pizza, bad sandwiches, worse calamari
Really great location if you're looking for a spot to eat in this very busy shopping area.
I've had the pizza previously and for the most part it's a solid wood-fire oven option with plenty of topping options.
Tried the sandwiches this time and they were bland and underwhelming. There's a LOT of bread and for a restaurant with a wood-fire oven it just isn't very good. I don't think they make it onsite.
We also had the Calamari and I can't say I'd recommend that either. The breading was under-cooked and falling off. Maybe a few more minutes in the fryer would have made the difference, but I wouldn't order it again.
Bottom line - stick to the pizza options and you should be okay here.
Ordered online for delivery - have always loved Anzios but it has been hit or miss… got lasagna and chicken margarita pizza. Delivered an hour later. Lasagna was good - pizza was burned, dried sauce, chicken dry and not hot. For $28, I am extremely disappointed. Costs a lot and have had great pizzas in the past. This was not a great experience and may question spending the money here again… big bummer.
Outdoor dining experience was great with the fire for ambiance and warmth in the evening.
Have had their delicious pizza at outdoor events so we went to the Northboro restaurant to give it a first time try this past weekend.
Waitstaff we're very nice and our waitress was an about two weeks new and she was very nice.
We tried two different dinners and decided the prices are very overpriced for what you get. My dish was very salty and the other dish has a lemon sauce and primarily tasted of an overwhelming strong white wine that hadn't cooked off so the lemon flavor was off.
Finished off with dessert...
The lemon ricotta cake with raspberry drizzle was delicious!!
If we go back again it will be for the pizza as the main entrees were not that great and overpriced.
This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs, mozzarella cheese, and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were kind of crumbly as if they had a lot of bread crumbs in them. The cheese was very good. The pizza had a thin dough crust, no crisp at all, and the sauce didn't give off a lot of flavor. I honestly was a bit disappointed for a wood fired pizza place. On a scale from 0-100 I would rate this 71.

At no point here did I make a comment about the wait or lack of kitchen coordination. I simply reviewed the food. If I had indeed waited the 30 minutes then I guess it would have all been cold. I'm sorry you felt you had to leave a negative statement but it was just not as good as I hoped.
We did Anzios Pizza Truck for our wedding reception and we are so glad we did. The owner is easy to work with. even though it rained all day they were able to set up the food truck outside with an easy up. They had a worker running the pizzas inside and working his butt off in the rain. Everything turned out great though. My husband is a pizza snob from New Haven CT and he felt the pizza was up to his standards. Our guests loved the pizza. It was so good. They also gave us a bunch of extra pizzas to take home at the end of the night. We also had some gluten-free guests and they were able to make gluten-free pizza or bring gluten-free pasta dishes for celiac guests. The pasta was also really good. They were fabulous to work with, and the food was so good and affordable for our wedding reception. Save your money on traditional wedding catering and do this fun and delicious pizza truck or catering from their restaurant!! Highly recommend using the pizza truck for any event!!
