Best WLM Reviews

Small bar with good food.
Friday evening full , very loud as all bars . All decor of place is collection of vintage things from 70-90s
Friendly bartender and waiters but to take them attention you need really hard wave . We seated in bar , it's takes 20 min to someone takes our bar order and other 40 min to take our dinner order. Maybe it's because of full booking but at least come to customers and say are you ready or you need more time will be feel more welcomed.
Food service has been fast after order, and very tasty!
Cocktails $16
Dishes $20-70
Originally made my reservation for 7:45 pm for Friday. Got a call Friday afternoon from the restaurant telling me that my reservation would be pushed back to 8pm but offered me a complimentary bread pudding (which was nice). I got to the restaurant at 7:55 pm and was not seated until 8:15 pm.
The food was delicious. The place is blasting with music makes it really hard to have a conversation without yelling.
I would NOT recommend going to eat there on a “busy” night. I would recommend take out.
Not to mention, there is a 1 hour and 20 minute seating time limit. However, since service was so slow, I ended up sitting there from 8:20 pm to 10:20 pm.
Six of us had our dinner at Antique based on the recommendation of a friend. We were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our waitress directed us to order our drinks and when she came back she would take our orders. Drinks came fast and we needed more time to select our meal. Also reminded the table had a time limit. We were told to order our appetizers and entrees at the same time and she would time our meal. We order several appetizers and two dinner entrees.
All the appetizers were delivered at the same time. We did enjoy all of them but, our entrees came before we finished the appetizers.
Entrees were okay but, not as good as the appetizers. After few more cocktails, and a few bottles of wine we were reminded of the time limit. So we ordered coffee and dessert.
The bill with tip was $900 for the 6 of us. We did enjoy the meal but felt rushed.
Best to go for a cocktail and one or two appetizers and leave.
Parking is horrible with a time limit of 4 hours within a 24 hour period. Parking is scarce between the residential and permit Parkers you would be lucky to find a space. Btw, we went on a cold, windy and rainy Wednesday night. Best to take a train then an Uber to any place in Hoboken.
Our first time here and it was our 2yr wedding anniversary. This spot didn’t let down at all. Love the vibe, music and lighting.
Customer Service
Our waitress, Jackie P, was truly polite, had great recommendations, was multi tasking like a bat out of hell and killin it!
Thanks Jackie P for making our first, and not last time here, tremendously memorable.
The only thing Jackie didn’t do, was tell us how big and delicious the Bread Pudding dessert was LoL.
The bus boy at this time for us and the tables around us was also tremendously positive and energetic. He did everything anyone asked with a smile and urgency!
(fyi we at here on may 16 at 915-1030pm and sat by side walls and by the doorway that goes downstairs)
Quite amazed by this place! My friend and I went there for brunch. We got the spaghetti squash carbonara (amazing dish!! Five-start rec), Shakshouka (nice flavor but really really salty) and a bread pudding (must-order. Super size). The service and atmosphere are above and beyond. The waitress introduced us to the history of the building as well:)
We had a wonderful dining experience at Antique Bar and Bakery. Every thing we tasted was wonderful but the best part of the night was the wonderful service. Jessica our waitress was top notch. Very attentive and accommodating. Jesus our bus boy was great too! As for food everything was great. You must have the bread pudding. It’s probably one of the best desserts I have ever had.
Antique
Antique was one of my favorite places we went to in all of Hoboken. We went immediately at 5pm because we didn’t have a reservation and wanted to catch a show in midtown.
We were seated quickly and discussed what to get. We split a pasta dish (I forgot the name but it was amazing) and had the famous bread pudding.
Let me start by saying the atmosphere of this restaurant is exactly what you want from a NJ / NY bar dinner. It is sexy and bustling, old yet upscale. I ateeee this up.
The food was beyond incredible. The pasta dish we had was 11/10. Just so flavorful, creamy and comforting for that December night.
The bread pudding can not be missed. It is what they’re known for and it seriously is the best you’ll ever have. It is physically massive so you can share this with 4 people easily.
Overall - a perfect night out with the best food and company.
Can not wait to be back!!
Very very good food. The place is small and cramped and dimly lit. We had to use our phone light to see the menu. The music at times was so loud I was yelling over it to talk. The bathrooms are small and kind of dirty, there was no holder for the toilet paper and I found it behind the toilet which is gross. The wait staff felt very chill. Our waiter was nice, he forgot my friends drink and then brought it out and didn’t charge for it so that’s good.
In order to eat at a decent time you need to book a reservation way in advance. I had to keep my eye on it when the new reservations would open online so I can get the time slot I wanted which was 7:30. I booked like 2 weeks in advance. We ended up getting there at 7:45 and it was no issue. We had a to wait a bit for the host to arrive at the front to seat us. There were some people trying to get in without a reservation and it seemed the staff was nice to them and tried but I don’t think it happened.
I got the burger $26. Big filling burger. The flavor was like no other burger. The crisp/ char on the outside tasted so unique. Perhaps because it was cooked in the 100 year old oven. The fries where cooked perfectly. I loved the addition of the pickle on the side and the pickles on top of the burger! I love pickles. My friend got the Mezzi Rigatoni and the sauce was delicious, also never tasted a sauce like that before. She really enjoyed it. All big portions. And we had to get the bread pudding the size of a head for dessert! $25. Best bread pudding I ever had!! It’s crispy on the outside but hot and steamy and puddingy on the inside.
The cocktail I got was “grow a pear” $16 and it was very good. Sweet and bubble but not too sweet and had a delicate fruity flavor.
Despite its flaws I would definitely come back just because the food is so good. The prices are spot on for the portions and quality of food you are getting. Come try this place!
