Best WLM Reviews
Plenty of tasty food to fill you up. Staff were very friendly, makes for a nice relaxing atmosphere.
Steak and eggs with hash browns, and country gravy smothered biscuits was all delicious.
So tried this place for breakfast and it was pretty good. I had the biscuits and gravy and the portion was large and biscuits were not dry. Gravy was decent and had good flavor, could have used a little more pepper but easy to add yourself. The wife had a combo with eggs and potatoes. Potatoes were very good but be aware that they charge extra for peppers and onions in them. The wife and I shared pancakes and they were ok but not great. I love buttermilk pancakes but these were lacking some fluff and flavor that I'm used to. Coffee was probably the worst part of the meal. It was burnt tasting and low quality beans, in my opinion. Overall pretty decent place with freshly prepared meals and a cool comfortable atmosphere with good service.
Decent stop for breakfast. Everything was good, but just not great. Came here due to other reviews mentioning gluten free bread and pancakes available, and it is! Tried the gluten free pancakes with my omelet, and they were just OK. But I didn't get sick, and that's the most important. They said they cook them on a clean surface to avoid cross contamination, so this is much appreciated they are aware of these things other restaurants are not always doing.
Dined here for breakfast. It’s your normal typical breakfast cafe. It was busy but we were seated fairly quickly. The prices were decent for what the food was. The food was good. My only complaint is they served us our drink in a dirty glass. They swapped it out for a clean one with no issues. It’s your more traditional breakfast than it is a glamours brunch spot but I would eat here again. I got the corned beef hash and my bf got the country fried steak.
We've been here a few times. But this time the waitress didn't bother to repeat the orders and messed it up. Never refilled coffee and just back one asked about the food. My husband is very picky about scrambled eggs, it tasted weird like a fake one. I just want good service and a good food for almost 100 we spent. We won't go back again.
This was my first time visiting and eating at this establishment. Beautiful atmosphere, and I love the British theme decor.
I ordered the Chicken, Mushroom and Swiss cheese Omelet, potatoes with bellpeppers and onions, and a side of Grits with butter.
Everything was very delicious and the employees are friendly and make you feel welcome whether you are a first-time or frequent customer.
I was the guest of a frequent customer known as "B" or "Beans," and hopefully, the next time I visit, I will have the pleasure of having a meal at Annie's Cafe again.
I am very grateful to have discovered this dining establishment since my girlfriend requires a gluten free diet but still craves a wide array of breakfast choices. The lady ordered the gluten free French toast with turkey sausage and I ordered the "super special" breakfast with bacon, sausage and hashbrowns selected for my choices.
The French toast was visually attractive with fresh powdered sugar on top. The taste was great and was accompanied by a great texture vs most gluten free breads that typically have a spongy texture. The restaurant also provided a tasty trio of syrups that included maple, sugar free and boysenberry. The "super special" breakfast was also great, especially with the spicy salsa the expo offered thrown into the mix of morning goodness on the plate.
On top of a great meal came an amazing customer service experience. We will definitely be returning again and again until we've tried everything on the menu!
Food and service was great. Had the morning special steak and eggs which included hash browns and toast. Coffee was always topped off. The reason for the missing star is that you can smell the bathroom alway to our table. But maybe visit next time I'm in town.
