I hate to leave a horrible review & have only done it 1 time that I recall. I just hate for people to waste their hard earned money. We ordered takeout on 2/23/24. The calamari were fine. The chicken parm & eggplant parm were nearly unidentifiable. The sauce was obviously from a can. The large combo pizza was edible. The large Margherita pizza was barely edible. The large salad & blue cheese dressing ok. We spent $117.87 and 2/3 of the food was thrown away. We really aren't hard to please!
I have only had food from Anna's about three times when I have been in the Smithfield area visiting relatives. On my most recent visit, I had linguine and clam sauce. Absolutely fabulous! You must love clams, fresh, and lots of garlic.
My family members ordered the special Smithfield Pizza. Very light on sauce and all manner of delicious meats according to them. Including entire slices of bacon!

I had the difficult task of planning a party from another state. We were having a gathering and I was in need of food for 30 people. I came upon Anna’s and I could not have been more pleased. I worked along with Vincent the owner and he made everything perfect. The food was amazing and everyone could not stop talking about it. Thank you Vincent and the staff at Anna’s for really making this special.
I've passed this restaurant for ~ 17 years and decided to try it this week (2nd visit this week). Both times I got the house spaghetti with ground beef/meat sauce. Both times there was too much watery liquid in the container. On my 1st visit the meal was topped with parsley and parmesan. The 2nd visit, there was no parsley or parmesan. Both times it came with a dry piece of bread, which I didn't eat - didn't order for the bread, but a nice toasted, buttered bread or freshly baked bread, would have been nice. There was a good serving of ground beef and it was seasoned well with bayleaf, etc. I also like the pickup window option.
Been going here since I was a teenager. .. the family was like our family, they knew us when we walked in. They have updated from the old red and white checked table clothes and Italian beer bottle budvases, but they still put the Same love into what they make. Keep up the good work ????
Dry pizza with minimal toppings and super wide crust. Too chewy as well. Thank God we got a Domino's pizza at the same time so I have something worth eating. Maybe it's the current chef or something. I've had good food from here in the past, but this is honestly the worst pizza I've ever had served to me with a straight face.
A rare jem in this day of take out and delivery. This is as good as American Classic Italian gets. Do yourself a favor and try the Sicilian pizza best I have since I was a kid.
Their steak and cheese subs use to be so good back in the day. I came a few months ago and the steak and cheese sub was horrible, I decided to give them one last chance. This time it came out worse than the last. Steak all burnt, sub isn’t good at all. I’m so disappointed. See attached photo.
