This is the spot. Go here! You’ll want to go back. No gimmicks needed with a chef and crew who take pride in their establishment. The location is premium with parking and access abundant. If you are lucky enough to sneak in during the winter, you’ll be able to get a very warm welcome! Try the Banana Bread French Toast if it’s available, the light banana flavor in the homemade whip was appreciated.
Quaint little diner that's decorated very colorfully. It is small inside so it can get very loud.
Extremely busy on a Saturday morning in August but the staff were doing a great job keeping up with everything. The tables were full both inside and outside and the 2 waitresses and 2 cooks were doing an awesome job making sure orders were making it out timely and coffee was kept full. No complaints at all there.
Food was expensive in my opinion. The food was good but I've had just as good for a more reasonable price.
Be aware they add on a 3% surcharge for using a card. I understand they are just passing along the cost, but at least let me know about it. I didn't see it posted anywhere in the restaurant or on the menu. If I had known, I would have paid with cash.
I'd probably try somewhere different the next time I'm heading up M25.
I am so thankful the Briggs family are here! Everything is made fresh and tastes amazing. You will not be disappointed when you try their food! Come see the freshly remodeled cafe. It’s bright, open, and ready for you to stop on in!
Great breakfast spot, best eggs Benedict I've had in a long time, home fries with red peppers and onions were great as well. The wife had an egg sandwich on sour dough that was very good, but my home fries were better than her hash browns. Coffee was perfect.
Ate at a table out front on a beautiful summer morning. Highly recommend this place.
If you are visiting Port Austin, stop here for breakfast. I had the Eggs Benedict, wife had the French Toast, and one son had Chocolate Chip Pancakes. All dishes were excellent.
I got the hangover skillet and it was so delicious! Great little diner! Our waitress Maddi was super nice, too!
Great little place with a fantastic chef running the show! The food portions are very generous and the flavors are outstanding.
Prices are very reasonable, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very casual.
Great food and friendly service. A much needed spruce up for Port Austin’s food scene! We will definitely be back!
