Their baked spaghetti is wonderful. Alex was my server and did an outstanding job! He made sure I had everything I needed and was very polite! That’s hard to find anymore! Great experience!
Highly recommend- ask for Alex he’ll take good care of you!
10 stars
Delicious Italian food and 9 oz glasses of wine for$10! Pizza by the slice are super large! A very popular place!
Called the night before Mother's Day (I know...my bad) to see if they took reservations. Not only did they take reservations, they had opened up an additional seating area that was quiet and very pleasant! We had an amazing lunch at 1 PM and the service was awesome! Portion sizes even provided an additional meal for 4 people!
Great food, my gosh, so much seafood in the fradiavolo, which had a delicious sauce. Pizza really good, best in Midlothian after trying too many places. Great atmosphere too. Kids plates bit bland, but kids liked them a lot (which is what matters). Only criticism is the house salad could be improved a bit, maybe more cheese or veggies? (or put in smaller plate/bowl, so wouldn't look so small on a big plate that was served).
Update: came again for take out, and was even BETTER than the first time!
When you are with a large sports team, finding a place that will accommodate the whole group isn't always easy. Finding one that will do so with ease is a major bonus!
Not only was this group able to accommodate our part of 30, they were super efficient in their care of our tables. The food was delicious and PLENTIFUL. The service was quick, kind and understanding of our group's needs.
Highly recommend if you are in the area. I know that even if I'm back in town with just my family, we'll be stopping by Angelo's!
When you nicely mention you can't find ANY meat or ricotta in the 'meat sauce' in the lasagna it's probably not good practice to be told 'nobody complains about our lasagna' by the manager..with none of the usual customer service practices, (Apology, discount, coupon, offer to re-do, desert). It's an ok place, not fancy at all, butter and sauces in plastic, bread pretty but super hard with no flavor. Really busy but they seated us quickly, front of house and waitress were attentive (thus the 5 stars on service), clean, good for kids, parking ample, super close to home but not the experience we were looking for. Would love to find a more traditional Italian restaurant that's a bit 'cozier' and not so noisy. Missed not having music, if they had it there was no speaker in the room we were in. Won't be back. Had an absolute wonderful time there. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Everything arrived quickly and hot. Prices were great and the servers were excellent. It's a very busy business so it might take a little time to get a table. They are also very good with their pickup service outside for those that order ahead. It's a charming little place but it gets pretty noisy inside with the amount of people in there and the tables are pretty close together so it may be difficult for you to hear at times.
Had baked spaghetti.. large portion, good not great sauce and a nice amount of melted cheese. I should have stopped there. I ordered meatballs (2 maybe 3; I threw them away)...I thought they were not good.. almost inedible. FYI: Another in our party (we had 7) liked the meatballs. So... Didn't like that they still charge a 20% surcharge. Our server didn't earn it. Bread arrived after the salads, which were delayed. Bad day for them.
