If I could give a zero I would. I brought my daughter in for a wash and blow. She is a African American teen with beautiful natural hair. When I asked if they could provide the service Theresa came over felt her hair and said no no we can’t do her hair she need a hot comb and I don’t have that. I was shock because the salon is in Wyandanch of all place! A predominately black and Latino community. I never encouraged my daughter to perm her hair and to love who she is. Unfortunately, Theresa’s only wants to do hair of a certain texture ????????♀️. I am disappointed in her and I will never return.
I love this salon. Clean place. And the staff are friendly, patient and fast. They do great job for everyone. I only went there once and That's where I'll always choose to get my hair done????
I got highlights told the owner I still saw brass I paid 281 total bc ny daughter got her hair blown up and I needed a toner the owner kept telling me not today come back other day we are busy but she said that everytime I called so I went somewhere and I got better service.
The service was great ... I went early in the morning and I was taken care of ... the owner was really sweet and I didn’t feel uncomfortable like most Dominican spots tend to make me feel. Wish their hours were more available
I arrived at the salon, and coming in I didn’t receive any kind of welcome. Teresa started to wash my hair and to position my head the way she wanted instead of telling me to lift/lower my head, she pulled the back of my hair to get me to lower my head into the sink. I also didn’t receive a full roller set. My hair was washed, blown out with the blow dryer and just flat ironed . I felt like an outcast because I had African American hair! My appointment was very rushed.
Love this salon, Just upset that they're not open on Sundays????. It's hard for me to go immediately after work, when I do it’s always packed. But overall I won’t go anywhere else!!
