Took my car in for a engine misfire and was notified that it’ll be $150 diagnostic fee. I had no problem with that considering that’s pretty standard but when I received a called back he told me I had a misfire but couldn’t identify what was causing the misfire. Isn’t that the whole point of me paying $150? He proceeded to tell me that it’ll be $700 to further diagnose it and he estimated that it’ll be $5,000 in repairs. How could he estimate it’ll be $5000 in repairs if he couldn’t even identify what was causing the misfire in the first place? I took my vehicle elsewhere and they immediately identified the issue without even charging me a diagnostic fee. I wasted my time and money here and considering how fast the other shop identified the issue, it made me question if this shop even did a proper diagnostic on my vehicle.
This mechanic shop lets mechanics that have no business doing mechanical work practice their craft here. A “mechanic” named “Richie” had my car there for almost 6 months. Did NOT fix my car, it leaked, it over heated, screwed on my bumper, took my engine out then did not know how to put it back in, to top it off THEY GOT PARKING TICKETS on my car!!!, one too many inconsistencies. AVOID this shop at all cost and especially that so called “mechanic” Richie Dominguez.
Rocky experience at best. Still haven't received an invoice, and I've called at least a dozen times. Overpriced as well. Go to New Century Auto, they're much better and friendlier.
The owner was very nice and very helpful. I had a few issues with my car and he fixed every issue that my car had. I highly recommend Andy's auto mechanic shop in Alhambra.
I’ve taken my car there a couple times already. When others couldn’t figure it out Roger and his mechanics found the problem Great service they know what they’re doing I’ll be coming here from now on thank you Roger and Jaime for great service and hospitality. Recommend 5 stars ⭐️
So far i feel like I've finally found my shop! Roger the owner is great, he has competitive prices. Gets quality parts for your vehicle and the warranty is great. Jaime and Henry are great mechanics and they'll tell you exactly what your car needs and they make sure they tell you if your car is safe to drive. Oil changes.. $30 dolla! ????
