Best Auto Service hands down. These guys helped me out a lot the few times i’ve had to bring my car in. Had to bring my car in today due to something grazing on the bottom of my car and a check engine light i had. They fixed the loose clip that was grazing under my car, and they also fixed the check engine light for me at no cost. Highly recommend. The nicest and the realest people you’ll meet when it comes to taking care of your car.
they bill you for work that is never completed. recently got inspection done and everything was "good" went to Mavis for a check up. everything that I paid to get fixed was still broken. have tons of receipts to prove the work was paid for but apparently never done. qw switched to triniboys auto at least there you get honest work done for you. after 7 years with andex auto their fraudulent business practice they lost business from 4 members of my family. will never recommend them to anyone again.thes also do not stand by their promised warranties that the offer on work.
Horrible customer service and very shady been going here for years they will bill you for work they never did. The owner Harry is a very bad person.
I passed by this summer to stop off and ask how much it would be to replace a fuse because my stereo wasn't working because the fuse went out the guy gets in the car and says to me how do you know it's a fuse and taps on my stereo and completely cracks the screen and breaks the entire thing.. asking me how do I know it's a fuse questioning me obviously because I'm a woman. Like I don't know my own car. He gets in and taps my stereo and then completely for real breaks it so it won't do me any good to change the fuse out now because I have to replace the entire stereo not the speakers thank God because the speakers are amazing but this guy ruined my stereo system and then says to me oh XYZ go over to the stereo place and then get it from them and then come back and bring it to me I'll put it in for you.... you broke my stereo. So I'm just letting everyone know what he did to me this past summer
Customer beware!
My husband has been going to this shop for almost 7 years for all of our cars. The owner usually does decent business with us but recently, he was out of town and we attempted to do business with the current mechanics employed there.
At first we dropped our car off and they claimed they were going to look at it and see what the problem was that same day. That day turned into two entire days with no communication from them. When my husband asked them why they couldn’t just let him know that they weren’t going to get to it they had a ton of excuses. They blatantly strung us along for days saying that they would get to it and we missed out on days of work because of it.
To make matters worse, after 3 days they told us that our car needed parts that weren’t even broken and tried to scam us on the cost of parts and labor and were extremely deceptive. They did this to us in October of 2022 as well but we weren’t aware of it yet.
They lost a long term customer because the mechanic tried to tell us that certain very expensive parts on our car needed to be replaced and that the labor would be 7.5 hours plus. They quoted us at $1200+ for parts and labor. It sounded ridiculous so we immediately got a second and third opinion elsewhere. We found out the real issue at a different shop and the mechanics at Andex Auto lied to us.
The job was actually only $200 including labor and we got it done at Adirondack Tire on Union Street in Schenectady instead.
Andex Auto was about to replace an entire power steering rack and pinion with some other parts for absolutely no reason. Turns out it was only a pinhole leak in the line attached to the rack. Unbelievable. I can’t trust this business anymore as I saved over $1000 at a different reputable shop.
Hopefully no one else gets scammed like we almost were.

Harry and his crew have been working on our cars for years. He has always taken care of my family. He is reasonable and honest and knowledgeble. I consider him a friend as well. I am very appreciative that he has always looked after my mom's vehicle when issues arise.
Do NOT go to Andex Auto, came here as a new customer yesterday when i could of chosen any of the other shops in the area. Sure regret choosing this one, they told me yesterday to arrive at 8:30AM and did not even look at my car until past 3PM. They claimed i was good to go and the car was sounding better, the mechanic specifically said “Everything sounds like its running normal to me” i left and the car began over Revving while i was driving home so i brought the car back today to have whatever they did yesterday fixed and they just completely destroyed my transmission yet they claim to stand behind their work. I was already very upset after finding out what they did and when i voiced my opinion they yelled at me out front of the auto shop and told me to leave and never come back. Funny thing is, i’d love to leave but i couldnt because they destroyed my transmission and denied responsibility for it and my car wouldnt move! Now im without a car and looking at a repair that will cost somewhere over $5,000. My brother is a mechanic and unfortunately lives in MA but after explaining what happened at this auto body he told me they obviously took my car apart to give me a quote on how much i’d be looking at spending and did not properly put it back together which caused the transmission to seize. I am contacting the BBB immediately and filing a complaint, and i will be using every single resource i have to bring this auto body down for doing me and so many other customers wrong after we put our trust in them. AWFUL!!!
