Best WLM Reviews

Feel free to read but long story short, I don't recommend.
I can forgive missing a deadline by 4 months. I can forgive poor quality work for a shop (see pics) as long as you own up to it and make it right, or one of your employees does it for you. But I can't forgive disrespecting and acting unprofessionally to family for asking questions, especially coming from an owner.
My end goal with this review is not to put the owner down nor the employees at the shop.
To keep this brief, I was not happy with the workmanship of this shop.
No, this is not an angry review, look at the pictures yourself.
Would you be happy if you got your car back from a shop like that?
I returned the car after not being happy with the work the first time, the employee working there literally agreed me that it was poor work and should have never left the shop in the first place. They agreed to make it right but owner was not there (just my luck right?).
Once the car was 'ready' the second time, we went to pick it up and were concerned with a new dent literally 1 inch from where they 'fixed' one of their many issues. The owner got super defensive and unreasonable when we pointed it out. At this point he kicked us out.
Here is how my experience would have been better:
- Not being disrespectful to family, seriously you're a grown up.
- Step up quality of work, I took it to a shop because I wanted a good job. Was not looking to have a show-car but just wanted good work. I did not barter your price, why did I have to keep asking you to fix your poor workmanship.
- Quote a more accurate timeframe, why do I have to call your shop every week just to keep hearing empty promises of the car being done 'next week".
- Don't be little your customers. Saying 'oh you can't see that in a white car' or 'you only noticed that because you're into cars' or 'the car owner (me) won't know what he is looking at'.
Anchor Collision did a wonderful job repairing my 84 year old aunt's car in a short amount of time allowing her to not have to rent a car. Rickey even repaired her headliner, which she had not even noticed being loose due to her height. The car looked great! Thank you again for taking care of our situation with excellent service.
Just picked up a car for my brother in law (the second time going to get this car) Not pleased. After pointing out the new dent on the top of the car the owner got crazy defensive. Mind you, we weren't concerned with the dents we knew were aldready there. They also put foam or weather stripping to hide a seam instead of fixing it. He went on the defense and let us know that he fixed the car to "the states standards" but it was not to our expectations. He then told us that he wasn't trying to get into a pissing match with us because we had experience in looking at vehicles. So, I took it as he wants to pull one over on the inexperienced and scrub by on anyone that may have an issue with his work. Super unprofessional and would never recommend them.
On December 26,2015 my car was dropped off, and on January 20, 2016 my car was "finished." I had an accident involving a deer. The driver door, mirror, front glass, and the bottom front bumper needed to be repaired. Well I go to get my car on the 20th only to find a big disappointment. They replaced my driver door with an aftermarket part from another car, and I know this because the window was tinted when none of the other three windows are. Also, bc the sticker on the driver glass doesn't say the same thing as the other three. My front glass had sharpie writing all at the top of it. A piece on the inside was left untouched from lack of realization from the insurance adjuster and body shop. Also, my front bumper contained scratches underneath along with a flap that is broken. Turns out the bumper was never even looked at or repaired. However, I'm a college student and needed my car that day so I gave them the insurance check and left. This past Friday (January 29) I dropped it off for them to fix the front bumper scratches and inside piece with the hole in it. I went to pick up my vehicle today (January 31) only to find more unsatisfactory work. The only thing they done to my bumper was paint over the scratches. It's more noticeable now than before. There's even paint drops where they just left the paint to fall and dry. I'm very displeased with this shop and their work. I will never return and I won't recommend anyone to go there. Between them and my insurance it was a nightmare. My adjuster said they signed off for it to be fixed on December 31, whereas the shop said the adjuster didn't sign off until the third week of January. Between both of them, nobody was relating any information to me at all. In conclusion, it was an awful experience. All this company cares about is their paycheck from the insurance.
Seven weeks for a three-week job (per their estimate). $500 over budget (per their estimate). Merchant was putting other jobs that came in after ours before ours and then rushed our work after so many weeks of waiting. Still finding countless flaws in the paint job. Many chips were not sanded out, but simply painted over. Clear coat was dry sprayed and uneven. Reassembly of both mirrors and one lamp was incorrect. Mirror reassembly was so bad that I had to replace the stripped out Rivnuts. Merchant was very combative when confronted about unfinished work. Merchant blamed vehicle for obvious flaws in workmanship. Merchant tacked on unsubstantiated fees. Merchant charged 50% more than quoted for a major replacement part.
I needed a new bumper. My old bumper was rusted beyond repair. Anchor replaced my bumper and restored my tow hitch. They took excellent care of my vehicle.
Really nice people and helpful. Do a great job. They do work on city vehicles sometimes too.
Cheapest price in town to replace a mirror on my Chevy impala and looked great !!!!
