We stayed at the American Inn while working in Dermott for the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by this little hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The couple in charge of the hotel were very friendly and considerate. You can’t beat the price for the stay, it was an excellent experience.
Price is great and rooms were clean. Bed was not comfortable. No hot water. Bathroom was lovely pink tile, which I am fine with but make sure stuff works. Tub didn't drain well. There was a really spooky closet in our bathroom and it reminded me of all the horror shows involving motels. I put something in front of it so I could hear if it opened. Didn't sleep well.
Competitive prices, very clean warm rooms with amazing water temperature & pressure.
Freshly brewed coffee when you wake up and honest smiling faces eager to help you in the right direction.
Most importantly, the owners honor God through their work and interactions with customers. When your bed is made with love, you just sleep better.
I have stayed at the hotel a few times i wasnt impressed at all but my last visit I was shocked it was like at a different place. The New management has made several improvements. the customer service cleanness of the rooms I totally recommend staying here.
Really enjoyed the stay with y'all. Nice clean rooms and wonderful people running it. I will use y'all again.
Very homely feel to the area, the owners have without a doubt worked hard on this place and the management is very helpful as well as they are friendly. The rooms are neatly placed together and clean, The suites have new beds, furniture, and clean bathrooms. The floors look amazing and match really well with the tables.
It is a great place to be when you get off of work, the only real traffic around is from the highway, and its not surrounded by other businesses, the view is nice, fresh air, and not a lot of buildings clogging up the area, plus it is not very far if your looking for a gas station or other stores.
I have to say this is one of the best motel's I've stayed in, and I strongly suggest staying here to everybody! 5 Stars all the way!

a good basic place to stay. clean, quiet, plenty of hot water and no bugs. a nice comfortable bed helped me to quickly fall asleep. the gentleman at the office was nice and friendly. many thanks for a great stay!
This place has lovely hot water, I never had a problem staying there, managers are nice and so are the people who clean the rooms. Very respectful, very nice rooms, not to far from town, or a gas station!
