I wIll never fly American Airlines again. Let me tell you what happened. I had my ticket(s) from Little Rock to Tampa. The first flight was from Little Rock to Charlotte, NC. My ticket said gate 3, and the prompter at the gate confirmed my ticket information.
Well time goes by and boarding still isn't happening (I'm not the only one there). The prompter now says delayed. Again no biggie, this has happened before. Come to find out that they switched gates without informing anyone. I was at the orginal gate the whole time, watching the prompter and no information changed. When I went to the new gate, I was informed I missed my flight.
Most other airlines will put you on the next flight, but not American Airlines. When I asked if I could be put on the next flight, the gate rep told me "No," and "I'm not a babysitter" when I asked why there was no notification at gate 3. Well needless to say we had a nice exchange of words after that.
So if you plan on flying, choose another airline. I've missed flights with Delta Air Lines and they always showed empathy and were able to get on the next flight.
Got no seat when checking in. The lady at the gate was extremely helpful. She also seems to be bilingual English/Mandarin which is fantastic
I am makeing this review on behalf of my BLIND sister who was treated rudely and told that because she was not in a wheelchair they would not escort her to the plane. They left a blind person unable to make a $1000 flight and she cant get her money back. Now her job in china is on the line. .. I am furious to know they treat disabled people this way!!
HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!! First of all the prices are blown out of proportion with add ons such as a computer and carry ons ranking up the overpriced ticket more. My mom was also treated poorly by the costumer service man who actually hung up on her when asking if there’s anyway we can lower the price. I am highly infuriated by the disrespect and the overpriced tickets.
HORRRRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called 5 times and the guy answered and hung up every time I asked a question. I asked him to not hang up he hangs up I was 5 minutes from my flight when he finally answered he said buy a new ticket . I said I would be there 20 minutes prior. Karma is a real thing
During the pandemic ive been on delta and now american airline. I will definitely say delta was way better on making you feel a little safer with the covid-19. American Airline packed us like sardines. Also no hand wipes like delta does. My opinion they are all about their money.
Did not answer any of my questions concerning my flight. I was hung up on 3 times and then sent to voicemail. Very unprofessional, rude and inappropriate the way I was communicated to via phone. Dissatisfied with customer service.
Called to request assistance for my outgoing flight.
Two different representatives were blunt, non-caring and rude.
Not understanding this airline.
We are PAYING for services.
