Had supper there on this past Friday night. Superb service and great pizza. Highly recommend. Had the stuffed taco pizza and there was no way it could have been better and the service was prompt,polite and the best I could have asked for. I wish I could give them more than five stars honestly
Enjoyed some pizza today at Alfano's in Monmouth. Their restaurant has two rooms for seating. Lots to choose from. Pizza was great. Good amount of cheese, sauce is sweet and tangy, and dough was of good consistency. Carry out and delivery available. Good family restaurant for a small town. Service was good and polite. Well priced. Worth a visit!
Stuffed taco pizza, AMAZING!!!! That's really all I can say right now, just amazing!
Disappointed to say the least. We ordered what was on the menu as a “Chicago style pizza”. When it arrived it was nothing more than a regular pizza. When I asked the server about it she replied that they only have “pan” pizza. I wouldn’t consider it that either. She almost seemed like “Oh, well … too bad” and then asked if we wanted a box for the rest of it. No offer to make anything right. I thought it was very unprofessional. When I mentioned the incident to the owner she wasn’t any more helpful. She started off by reading that portion of the menu to me and when I stopped her by telling her “I can read” she began making excuses for the server -“We’ll, she’s a high schooler and that’s what you can expect.”
Excuse me?! What I can expect is for the owner to care enough about the customers who are keeping their business afloat to take it a little more seriously. She did offer to remake something or give us a credit since my husband had already paid the bill but at that point I was just ready to be done with the place. We won’t be returning or recommending Alfano’s to anyone but will share our experience if anyone asks about the place.
We had great food in a nice environment. Really enjoyed the cheesy garlic bread.
Walked in and was told to sit anywhere. We sat for close to 20 minutes and no one even took a drink order as we watched several people who came in after us be waited on. On our way out the door we were simply told “bye guys” as if there was no issue and we had been waited on and fed. Will not be going back.
Got the manicotti. My friend got the chicken Alfredo. Everything was just ok. Olive Garden is better. Alas, no Olive Garden in Monmouth
The pizza was awesome extremely yummy we had half taco and half sausage green olives and mushrooms ???? also had garlic cheese bread it was good the sauce came out cold from a refrigerator cold that threw me ????, service started good but when we was done had to ask twice for a box and one of my friends went to the counter and got it. Gave a better tip then I would have.
