I had to get an emergency birthday cake for my sister because the original cake didn't work out. After calling many places around, an employee from this bakery not only answered all my questions over the phone patiently' but when i arrived to the bakery, she went over options of cakes and even decorated a cookie because there was really space to write on cake itself.
I have 4 kids and a big family; so I'm always throwing parties. I will definitely get my cakes from this bakery from now on. Service was amazing and so were the cake and pastries I bought today.
Staff are super friendly and willing to explain their cakes and flavors. Their key lime tart and macarons are some of my favorites.
Some of their cakes can be dry, which I guess is expected if it's sitting out for a while. Good flavors, just cake texture can be varied.
Today was a little weird because there was a parchment between the layers... So eat with caution I guess? I'm glad I wasn't bringing this to a party or something.
Staff was very pleasant and sweet. Nice and helpful with informing of desserts. Place looks nice and clean and everything looks delicious.
Very casual dining. You can pick your seat when you come in.Hot plated order served quickly. I had simple eggs, bacon and potatoes. Potatoes were niclely made with sautéed pepper and onion strips. Coffee was hot and fresh with a splash of mocha. Delicious!
I absolutely LOVE Alexandria Pastry Shop! I ordered a cake for a co-worker’s retirement ceremony and it was by far the best custom cake I’ve ordered! And the customer service it top notch! Also a great spot to grab lunch and a good cup of coffee. Please consider this lovely bakery for your custom cakes, you will not be disappointed!!
Today was Mardi Gras. I was trying to order a King Cake for my clients. I went to several places prior, and they were all sold out. I tried my hands with this establishment and was amazed. The customer service was impressive, and they were very friendly. A must try for the experience!
Found a nice pastry shop. Lots of goodies. And Lavazza coffee! It’s like 2 stores under one roof, but I didn’t look at the sandwich shop side. My wife had a berry tart and really enjoyed it. I had a pistachio croissant and chai. Nice staff. Will come back again.
Went here for breakfast. Had a hot Ham & Swiss on rye, tea, and juice. Enjoyed a table all to myself and the food was okay. BUT the table was dirty, there was no atmosphere - in fact wall near me showed signs of damage - and the staff seemed subdued. Not rude or anything. Just seemed like they could take or leave my business.
Nothing really to make me want to come back. To be honest only went there because the BeeLiner wasn't open and McD looked crowded.
