Best WLM Reviews
We were in eastern Indiana for the Eclipse on 4/8/24, and the day before were driving in Aurora and stopped for lunch at Alejandra's Authentic Mexican Restaurant for lunch. It's a nice place, your typical nicer Mexican restaurant. A very nice hostess seated us. Our server gave us chips and salsa, but also a cheesy Mexican dip. I thought that was a nice touch. We started with sodas, my wife with an unsweetened Iced Tea and I with a Mug root beer. For lunch my wife had steak fajitas, which she reported as very decent, exactly what she was expecting. I had a Burrito Rancher, which held steak and chicken, along with other burrito fillings you'd expect. The burrito on the plate was surrounded with several shrimp, and pineapple chunks. It was all covered with a white sauce. The burrito itself was fantastic, and the shrimp and pineapple made it that much better. Next time I'll get it without the sauce on it, or maybe on the side. The burrito itself was good enough on it's own. We also saw that they prepared guacamole tableside. We didn't do it but we wish we did.
The restaurant was decorated inside as you might expect, but the decorations were maybe a cut above your average Mexican place. The service was very prompt, and the servers friendly. We were never left waiting for anything, and when we stood up to leave, four people NOT our server said goodbye to us.
If you like Mexican food, I'm sure Alejandra's will not disappoint.
Always generous portions at a great price. Fast and delicious.
Had the steak fajitas, very good. We happened to be there on a Thursday and they had a mariachi band which was really good. I think that added to the experience.
OMG! For me, the best Mexican. My daughter and I love this place. Found it during the pandemic and have been coming here ever since. Delicious delicious delicious food. Mole sauce is the best , my favorite. Really great margaritas!!! We come out of our way to eat here, totally worth the 25 minute drive.
Haven’t been in a while because they switched to Pepsi . After we sat done all the way in the back. We got chips and drink . Then nothing. 10 minutes , Another couple were seated and order taken , We just sat there. Now the restaurant was empty 3:30 pm. Asked the waitress to find our waiter , another 5 to 10 minutes So pissed. Got up and walked out. Service sucks. Find somewhere else !!!!!
I love this place. They are always so friendly and attentive. The food is excellent! We never have any leftovers... it's that good. The margaritas are the best in town!! The place is catered to the whole family
Beautiful, great place. They don't do anything special for birthdays anymore I guess? That may be the only thing that I could dislike, but still hands down the best food in town.
Very nice Mexican restaurant, good food friendly! Clean and updated!
Forgot Some things on my husband 's dinner but other than that I'd definitely eat there again
