My friends treated me to an early birthday dinner last night. Our server, Will, was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We shared two of the three entrees between the five of us. Oh. My. Delicious! And definitely enough to satisfy!

Amazing experience here at Alaine's Osteria. Food was incredible and the service even better. Stefan took very good care of us and our wine glasses were never past half empty. His knowledge of the menu helped me decide when I was torn between all the excellent sounding choices.
My fiancee ordered the seafood risotto and everything under the sea was there from mussels, to squid, and even lobster. The chicken francese had a tasteful amount of lemon butter and I almost wish I could bottle up the sauce used in the risotto.
Would definitely return and recommend Stefan as your server.
Hidden gem!!! First visit here and was amazed by the food...although food took a very long time but it was worth it. I just hope the restaurant do something about it. The service in general was good. Will definitely visit again.
Lovely hidden gem with great service and fantastic food. Calamari we're extremely fresh. Fettuccini Alfredo was creamy and tasted just right. The chicken in the chicken Alfredo was slightly dry, but it was a great dish overall.
The short rib ravioli was definitely unique. Tasty, although I found the dish/sauce a bit on the sweet side.
House wine (red) was fantastic!
I have found my favorite local Italian restaurant. Small, cozy, dim lit, great for any occasion.
Found out about Alaine’s from a friend and decided to try it out for dinner. When we got there, the place was packed. You can tell this place is a favorite for locals.
Our party ordered a few items from the menu and it was absolutely delicious. Their pastas were on point. The carbonara was absolutely amazing. Their veal Milanese was perfectly fried. Everything was delicious.
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars.
We've been coming to Alaine's for a few years now. it's one of our favorite place to have dinner. Everything we've tried has been delicious and the staff is always attentive and welcoming. We love this place so much, we decided to have our wedding reception there this past weekend and we can't thank Jacky and all of the staff enough! They were awesome and all of our guests enjoyed the food, relaxed atmosphere and exceptional staff. Can't thank you guys enough! Blessings to you all and see you again soon!

Do Not bother making a reservation for a large party at Alaine's Osteria.
One month ago, I made a reservation for a party of 10 in the wine room to celebrate birthdays and family that are coming in town. The lovely young woman I spoke with confirmed that the reservation was booked and that I would need to put down a $25 deposit in order to hold the room. No problem. When offered my card, she said she would call me in a few days to collect that payment.
That never happened.
Two weeks later, I called again, and she confirmed that she still has the wine room in the back reserved for us and that we still had plenty of time for her to collect the deposit and she would call me soon.
Once again, that never happened.
Yesterday afternoon, I called back, again, to provide my credit card number so there would be no issues moving forward. The woman on the phone had no idea what I was talking about, and could not find my reservation. She put a “manager” on the phone, who was then able to identify my reservation, saying it was booked and no problem and someone would be calling me in a few days to collect the deposit.
Today, someone called to tell me, sorry, but they are no longer able to let us use the wine room because someone else had paid their deposit in front of us. This is after us reserving it over a month ago.
So, after getting on the phone with another manager, we were told that there was nothing that we could do considering that we had not paid our deposit. This is the same deposit that we were told, and no less than three times that they were going to call us to collect as the date got closer.
They offered to “maybe” put us in the bar side of the room because it was a little bit more quiet. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable because we had already reserved and booked the private wine room in the back.
Moral to the story… Pay your deposit upfront, and get the name of the manager, that you spoke with, and a written copy of a receipt. Otherwise, they will sell off their spaces to the highest bidder, regardless of the fact that we are long time Palmetto Bay residence who have been frequenting the establishment since it opened.
Never again.
This neighborhood restaurant is not only quaint, but the service is great and the food is amazing. Everything is made to order, so don't rush the chef. If you end up having to wait for a table, they provide you a glass of house wine to enjoy. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant, it's also perfect for date night. Try their cream sauce dishes.
