Best WLM Reviews

In my opinion the new owners are definitely taking you for your money. The last 2 times I ordered the Large chief salad take out I have been disappointed. A salad is basically as cheap as you can get as long as you’re just getting the lettuce. $14.90 for this bad boy when bacon bits and extra dressing are added! Last time I had no egg or tomato on it not by choice this time no egg, where’s the cheese just a sprinkling gee thanks my dressing cups are only a quarter of the way full most the time that’s why I have to ask for extra. Both times they didn’t send crackers either. Definitely will spend my money elsewhere. I MISS THE OLD OWNERS who I do not even know who they were. I have also been told that the new owners adopt or foster quite a few children and make them slave away at their multiple businesses! That is hearsay but I personally will not be purchasing from Al’s in the future due to the personal experiences I have had on my last 2 takeouts. SMH.. $14.90 for lettuce! Get rich quick scheme! The girls taking the order over the phone both times were very helpful, kind, and professional!
Tried the buffet on Tuesday evening. When we arrived all the pizza was old and the breadsticks and cinnamon sticks were gone or had one to two cold/stale ones left. The server did ask what we wanted and they did make the new pizzas as requested. Took a bit more time than expected. Cheese sauce was absent but they did bring fresh after the third ask. All in all it’s what I expected but really could have been a whole lot better. Looked like typical short staffing and take out orders kept rolling and our server was handling both. It’s not really their fault in my opinion and that responsibility goes to ownership or management. Service was the bright spot but….. I had higher expectations when this sold but I have to say it’s gone downhill since new ownership took hold. I’m guessing their take out is what keeps them in business. Hope they survive but I’ll predict 2025 is the year they close or stop dine in.
The waitress was so nice and friendly. The pizza was amazing ????. We had the buffet and got to pick our own pizza since we was the only one there and the taco, BLT, BBQ chicken was amazing. The kids loved it as well. The Peanut Butter Smores pizza was literally the best dessert pizza I ever had. You gotta try it!
First time eating their buffet. 12.99 ×3 Everything was dried up. In my opinion they should never have a buffet. Nothing was fresh. The grilled cheese and mac n cheese breadsticks dried up pizza. The salad bar banana peppers were dried up ranch in the cup warm. I let the cashier know and her only response was real smartellicy, I only been here for an hour. . I can only say the drinks were OK. I guess for39.00 for 3 of us and they were high$$ drinks because the buffet was unreal. I hope the health department shows up and shuts down the buffet . No help and that's their excuse. Up to the shut. Don't eat the Buffet. Their pizza is delicious if you order takeout.
The buffet was very fresh and pizza was very good and hot. On the buffet (15.00 for adults less for children, less for toddlers) had fresh mixed greens, toppings and a few cold prepared salads. They had hot soup, bread sticks and hot nacho dipping cheese sauce. Plenty of fresh hot pizzas, different toppings. Drinks included. You need to call to see when buffet is available. You can pick up at window any pizzas ordered ahead.
The pizza isn’t bad, it scratches the itch.
Counter person (Amber) needs work on her customer service skills. She’s not friendly towards customers. Her tone is bossy to her co-workers and irritated to customers as if customers are wasting her time.
With the cost of everything so sky high people are doing restaurant businesses a favor with their patronage. Amber doesn’t seem to understand that.
Since the new owners have taken over the food quality and portions have gone down! I used to order chef salads and get so much in the container it was overflowing. Now when i do get one theres barely any ingredients and sometimes some left out. Such as tomatoes or boiled egg. Less ingredients, smaller portions and higher prices. Sad to say after all these years of enjoying an Al’s chef salad i will no longer be buying another. Do not claim you are the same as the old Al’s because you are NOT!
Carry out Food was supposed to be ready at 5:30 and it still was not done at 6:00 and there was no other customers there. Definitely will not go back!!!
