Best WLM Reviews
Lovely family run middle eastern restaurant. I had the lentil soup, shawarma platter and kunefe. Everything was delicious. I was fasting and asked for a date and was given 3 which was generous. Excellent hospitality. Glad I found this gem of a place during my one night in Rochester.
This is my favorite restaurant to bring my grandma to! The food is amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. My grandma loves the soups here and I have loved everything that I have tried here too! This restaurant is family owned and operated. They also have amazing Arabic coffee and sell treats to take home! Best Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant in the area!
Menus were filthy, the cloth napkins were dirty and stained, the waiter brought us the wrong food meant for another table, the lettuce in the wraps was wilted and brown. Tea isn't included in the sandwich combo and was charged 5 dollars for it. The place is a dive.
Oh my gosh. I walked out of this restaurant feeling NOURISHED.
The owners/staff were extremely friendly and took great care of us. They answered all of our questions.
Once the food came out- wow. I don’t remember the last time I felt so out of control (in a good way)while eating dinner… I could not stop eating. It was all so delicious and fresh. The flavors were popping.
We ordered dessert and they just were so kind they gave it to us on the house. Unexpected kindness that I really appreciated.
The food was fresh, delicious and healthy. You can really tell the people who are cooking it or making it with love because I will once again say I came out feeling nourished, like I had been fed by a mother or grandmother.
Always delicious for a good price! Somewhat limited vegetarian options, but the options they have are amazing. I love their falafel sandwich and samosas, their fries are also quite good. They've also been very quick in preparing food the times I've gone.
First time trying Mediterranean. I was impressed. All the meat was cooked to perfection with the perfect seasonings. The bread was very good and everything went very well with the rice. Definitely recommend trying this place.
Addicted to the chicken shawarma sammich. Didn't expect the fries to be IN the wrap, but it's great! The chicken kebab sandwich is a close contender, but it's all about them pickles, man.
Prices are reasonable. The food seems authentic. Lastly, the service is great for pick-up and they are nice, warm people.
The food is really good, that was the best hummus I’ve had in years: really flavorful, and silky smooth. The falafel is very good, too: crispy, light, moist. And the chicken shawarma was excellent: the chicken was perfectly cooked, with a great mix of spices and nice garlic sauce.
The atmosphere is somewhat basic, but very spacious, authentically decorated, and very nice for the price.
It’s run by a family, our waiter was one of the brothers, and he was very friendly in a casual way.
And so affordable!
