Aita is my GO TO braider. I've been going here since early 2021. Different than other African Braiders I've been to, she actually talks to you. She's considerate and not only does she engage with you buy ensures you're getting what you asked for rather than just doing what she wants. I've gotten various styles over the years including crotchet. She doesn't braid tight and is beyond reasonable prices. This woman is open 7 days a week. I refer to everyone I know and have relatives who travel from South Jersey to get their hair braided by her.
I purposely bought many hair packs (crochet braid) so she could full my head. After she Was done , She did give me a mirror so I can see if I like it or not. It looked great so I left a tip. Certain things I do with my hair wether is to pick something up or do whatever people could see many spaces as in seeing the con-rows. I am not disappointed. Again it looked good from the front I liked it. SO FREAKING DISAPPOINTED. Oh I definitely regret tipping $5. I’m wondering if I can come get my tip back! I was charged $120 or $125 some places charge me $100 and they do a better job
I’m new to the area and was looking for a new hair braiding spot. I used Google and decided to go to Aita’s!! Her place is clean all the ladies that work there can braid very good! Im a loyal customer now along with my daughter’s. Good vibes& great Braider’s!!
I been getting my hair done here with aita for many years and she doesn't braid tight at all it's like family there and u will feel like family there as well give it a try u will live the experience
Excellent experience. Aita was so warm and welcoming. Everyone in the salon was so friendly. My hair came out great and it didnt take too long. I got so many compliments! I suggest calling to schedule an appointment. As a first time customer I would highly recommend. I'm definitely going back.

So helpful and accommodating. I got lost and was late for my appointment. I called and got great directions and she called to check on me while I was parking. Very quick and high quality service. My new go to braid spot.
Let me first say that everyone in there are very kind! I can appreciate that!
But.... I have a good amount of hair in quantity and length... so if you're someone like me and value your natural hair, go else where because it'll be broken, torn, and ripped.... there was no careful detangling as the stylist was braiding... mind you my hair was completely blown out and tangle free prior to arrival. I'm not from here, and I have a trip soon.. but its either I'll look elsewhere or try a different stylist... I gave an extra star because it's not tight! Also the parts aren't clean, you can tell that as she was braiding, she was pulling hair from a different section!!!! Ouch!!!!!! But she's nice though!!! So I kind of feel bad for the review, I'll upload a picture shortly.
