George and his team are genuinely honest. People with this shop. It is not all about the money for him and his team. I would recommend them to anyone that wants a good place to get repairs done and told the truth about your vehicles condition.
Not even going to violate the review rating but I reached out to George solely to figure about why my Jeep would not move in either drive or reverse. I made it completely clear that the truck was a bit of a project and everything else would be taken care of. I just needed a diagnostic on why it wouldn't move. I pay for a tow from my home to AGM on a weekend when they were closed. On a Monday they reached out to me stating the battery was dead. I assured them with a Jump pack, it would start up after a few seconds. Cool. Gets that out of the way. Later on calls me and tells me that I have to stop by to take a look at something with him. I get there and he has the truck on the lift and is telling me that the Torque Converter is completely missing, which sounds completely crazy to me, but I figured you know what, whatever it is just fix it. Turns out George is not the boss and was told by his boss to get my vehicle out of there. Nice. Wasted $280 on a tow. I tow it to another shop for an additional $330 and they take my Jeep in with no issue. They find that the Torque Converter is not missing ! It's in the bellhousing where it should be. The issue is the Flywheel bolts were not connected to the Torque Converter. Spent $26 on OEM bolts. Torqued them down and now my Jeep is able to move in drive and reverse. I'm not sure George's intentions but he was about to have me spend $800 for a Torque Converter and pocket the $400 core charge for my "missing" torque converter. Then on top of that, he mentioned the pump for the trans was shot which was another $1400 without labor. What a wild ride. Especially with him saying he has worked on tons of Wranglers. How do you expect me to perceive you my brother ?
The honesty of George and his mechanics is the biggest reason I trust him. He knows what he is doing but if there's somthing he's unsure of or doesn't know he tells you and to me that is what make a Good mechanic someone who can admit to the customer when they don't know the answer but will go and research on the web Or through books to find the answer Or solution. He always takes time out to explain everything and even goes out his way to show diagrams to better explain to his customers what's going on. On several occasions I had contacted the shop for help and instead of trying 2 charge me for something. He printed out diagrams for me and instructed me are how to try to resolve my issue. And if I was unable to resolve it myself then said to bring in my truck. AGM IS always my first stop with issues for any of my vehicles
I know there's a couple of mechanics around the area, but I absolutely recommend you take your car here. Very honest, hardworking, intelligent, and understanding mechanics. You feel like they really care about you and your car, and take the time to explain anything you might have questions about. I've gotten my oil changed and my heat + coolant fixed very quickly for a very very reasonable price.
George was great to work with and had patience and professionalism working through our dilemma ! So far so good with our new front and rear break's ! Thank you again , George !

I had been looking and looking for a shop in jersey City.. my Ford expedition wrench ???? icon came on .. so I went to work .. googled .. YouTube issues.. ????..like any not so rich guy.. I went to a few shops and just didn't get that okay. I can trust these guys.. but I had met George before for a price quote on my nissan transmission..by far, he gave the best reasonable price.. so I went to him again, but he was sorta busy and brushed me off.. then I tried once more and he listened gave best offer again.. look...honestly speaking I rather do things on my own..but there comes a time for professional.. and George is that one shop guy I would highly recommend going to.. by the way, if he's busy try again!!.
