Stumbled across Agave & Rye while visiting the Dayton OH area. Was a very nice surprise! Atmosphere is super cool and unique, doesn’t feel like you’re in small town OH. The service was excellent, server did a great job! The food was good. The sticky cauliflower was fantastic! The Green Goddess was good, I thought it was a little dry but good flavor. If you’re looking for something unique in the Troy area I highly recommend checking this place out ????????
The atmosphere is artsy and interesting, but the place could use a deep clean. Light fixtures and art installations are pretty dusty.
The food was good, but a little pricey for what it is, and was slow to come out of the kitchen even though there were very few customers at the time.
Our waitress was kind, but forgetful. We ordered Irish nachos to start, but they brought out the wrong dish. By the time the correct appetizer came out, we were already halfway through our tacos.
The bourbon peach punch was well made, and reasonably priced when on special.
TL;DR: A $60 anniversary lunch that was just ok. We won't go out of our way to return.
Today I had a jalapeño pineapple margarita. It was one of the best drinks I've ever had! We also had corn Fritters with a spicy/sweet dip. Sooooo delicious! We each had burritos also. Our server was wonderful as always! This time on our bill we noticed a merchant fee. We asked our server and she said its something the owners came up with for business costs. She took the fee off our bill. We love Agave & Rye. We even drive from Springfield to eat there. The cost of drinks and food is pricier than other places we could go. We pay it because it's very different and good, but please don't charge us more.
We decided to have a girls' day and started here. The food was fantastic! The margaritas are sneaky lol. Brian is a fantastic server. If the weather is nice, sit outside!
Very good, flavorful & unique food! We live out of state now, but have to visit when we’re home! If y’all want to start a franchise on the Gulf Coast of Alabama, you’ll have to give us a shout. ???? The chicken street tacos are my jam!!
This was our first time and it was the best. Rosie was our server not only was she very nice, but she was very knowledgeable and helpful and her service. The food was perfect. I loved it. I do recommend 10 out of 10.
Great atmosphere and service, food was good. Graffiti street style dining room ambiance -- different, but we liked it. Free old style video games in the back, great for the kid in all of us while waiting for the order. Just the right amount of food to take care of that hunger attack.
Wow! Gorgeous art all around, the decor was stunning. Food delicious, and unexpected! While I wholeheartedly will never try the kangaroo on the menu - I am excited to try their other dishes! I got the Ninja, and it was so different but delightfully tasty! The free arcade games in the back was a nice addition too!
