I had to come back and write another awesome review. This is the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. The food always comes out really fast and hot. The waitresses are always smiling and friendly. I always get the tacos and they are always packed full. I have ordered other things as well and everything is always so so good!!! The rice and beans actually have flavor. They aren't just plain. I just can't say enough good stuff about Agave. We eat here twice a week.LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Stopped into the Port Wentworth for an early dinner after having been to the Tybee Island location. It’s conveniently located off 21 with plenty of parking and seating.
First the staff was extremely friendly and prompt. The fresh salsa and Guacamole are off the hook and the tortilla chips are always hot and fresh and clean tasting.
Prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes were above expectations.
We had the Chicken Fajitas, Shrimp Chimichanga, Kids Chicken Fingers and fries, side of guacamole,shredded cheese, and pico de gallo which were all very good.
And the refried beans we’re probably the best I’ve had in a really long time. They seemed to have a little smoky flavor.
The Cheese dip (Queso to some) was so good we ordered an additional serving.
We will definitely be returning and encourage you to stop in if you haven’t already.
We were passing through and found this gem of a restaurant. We had 3 kids and 3 adults and everyone loved their food. The adults ordered fajitas, chicken chimichangas and taco salad, all meals were great. Kids ordered cheese burgers and said they were some of the best burgers they’ve ever had (I also tried one and it was really good). Prices were reasonable and the service was great. Extra bonus was being able to sit outside and enjoy the awesome weather!
First time coming to this place. Was seated quickly with chips and salsa. After that it’s like we were forgot about. No one came to get drink order or even acknowledge we were still there. This went on for 20 minutes. We left without drinking or eating and they all said “thanks for coming” like they did some great service. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK!

Best Mexican food I’ve had !! I definitely recommend
Started going here about 3 years ago and was impressed with the food and service initially. Unfortunately since then my experience here has progressively gone down hill over 12-15 visits. My last and final visit we waited for the food for over 30 minutes before the first plate to come out, then 5 minutes between the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th coming out 1 at a time. It was a Saturday night at 7pm and there was only 1 other family in the restaurant. The place used to be packed. Food quality tastes like it was frozen and reheated. Service seemed like they didn't want to be there, it's a shame.
Great and tasty food, staff is very friendly and attentive. Elisabeth was very helpful.
Spacious atmosphere. Agave fajitas were delicious for sure!
