Best WLM Reviews

My review is solely based on the meat pies which are quite delicious! Nice hint of spice, well seasoned, and flakey crust. They rival my favorite meat pies down at Kings Way in Laurel. The meat pies encourage me to try other dishes. I do wish the owners would put some effort into the ambience. Almost didn’t want to eat there. Happy I did though, will try other dishes.
In town visiting my mother and stopped by here tonight for some food. Great customer service, he was attentive to all his customers and managed to produced quality food in a reasonable amount of time. The food is remarkable. Whenever I’m in town I’m making this my go to spot.
The food here is amazing. Real Nigerian jollof rice, real soups and fufu not the fakes they call jollof. The food is so authentic and tasty and very large quantities too. This is not my first time but each time I visit from Miami, I go to Agama Kitchen and I haven’t been disappointed. The owner too is such an amazing guy. I highly recommend here for anyone looking for Nigerian food.
Ladies, if you come in cute (which I already know yall do!), expect to be there for an additional 30mins. The owner is nice enough, but the staff will literally look you in your face without saying a word until you ask if you can be assisted. Last 4 times in ordered, I wasn't given the meats I wanted because they didn't have it. No word, no "what can we substitute it for" just gave me whatever....and they wrap the plates with saran and aluminum so you won't know until you're ready to eat.
This review is specifically because we've been ordering less and less since the last situations.
Just wanted a tray of suya (dry and tough) and a tray of meat pie. Peep how raw the fillings are in pics. Plus a tray packed with rice and one piece of meat...times are hard, I know but $20 for oily rice and one goat meat thats literally skin and bone.
The jollof rice was very good, fried fish was okay. They also give you a lot of food for your money. However, the food is in buffet style trays that are not heated and exposed. The Guy serving the food was standing right over it. Restaurant also looks very dingy. I personally wouldn’t come back but since we drove far to try it, we decided to do so.
I gave it a 3 star because of the interior. It does need some serious work but the food gets 10 stars.
Had Moin Moin and Suya...definitely went back for the Suya..more spicy and more dry than typical...it goes perfectly well with cold garri haha. Call in advance especially if you want moin moin.
Ordered the grill fish with sauce and plantains, the extra large suya and a meat pie. The food tasted great, fast service, and the food was well packaged. Very satisfied and I’m a fan. I’ll definitely order from them again!
