Best WLM Reviews

The yuzu tsuyu was flavorful - from the shoyu marinated pork, to the sesame topped dipping sauce (not sure how traditional it is as a Japanese dish). I also had the yuzu soda drink - sweet with citrus flavors. The atmosphere was clean and spacious, but the music was a little loud. Friendly service
I’ve been wanting to try this ramen shop in Beaverton, and am so glad I did. This is the perfect location to come to when it’s raining and gloomy outside. The broth is hot and hearty, and I really like the firm texture of the noodles. I might try a vegetarian option next time as I didn’t love the pork in the Shoyu ramen so much. Otherwise, cute atmosphere and friendly service!
I have nothing but positive things to say about AFURI. They have plenty of mouth watering options, so that just means you have to visit multiple times to try everything. The noodles definitely tasted fresh and made in-house. Broth was very flavorful and filling. Their edamame was served with a twist, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Everything here was super delicious. Also, if you have room at the end, you should get the tofu donuts. You would never guess they were made out of tofu! Our server was also amazing and made serving a party of 6 seem like a breeze. Everything was on point, and I can see why my friends love this place!
Tried to give this restaurant a try and it was good. The chicken broth ramen was good, it wasn’t a thick ramen. The negative part of the ramen was there was only a small chicken piece with the ramen. The spicy chicken karage was good along those spicy jalapeño.
I’ve been wanting to try this place and finally did. It has a nice modern design and clean. Though the staff was friendly they seem preoccupied with personal conversations and unaware that I was the only occupied table in the restaurant wanting to place an order. As far as the food goes, the ramen was flavorful but it seems to be missing something in taste. The broth didn’t have a deep savory flavor compared to other ramens I’ve eaten.
Street parking could be difficult.
I ate some of the food, so my pictures look lacking ???? but I promise the food was pretty and delicious! I ordered the ramen combo, and selected the yuzu shio ramen, crispy gyoza and a homemade ginger ale! I loved the aesthetic and the atmosphere too
Great experience in one of the newer Afuri locations. Service was so accommodating and helpful for our first time there. Very considerate and offered suggestions. Food was tasty. Buns were so delicate and fluffy and perfectly balanced with the filings. Ramen was great, spicy and rich without being oily or heavy. The cocktails made it feel like summer and we tried multiple beverages (milk tea, yuzu limeade, watermelon ginger) all were delicious. Definitely will return. Wish they had sushi when we were there - not sure if offered but we saw photos on other reviews (maybe other guests ate in the outside area which has a sushi place in the same shared space).
Special call out for offering my kids the chopstick helpers when they were struggling.
My partner and I randomly stopped by here for dinner on a Sunday and we were very happy with the quality of the food and service. They specialize in ramen dishes and dumplings, as you may infer by the restaurant name. A lot of their ramen has yuzu in it, giving it an extra "kick" compared to other Japanese soup places. The thin noodles they use soak up a lot of the flavor and are simply very enjoyable to eat. It's on the fancier side, but prices are pretty reasonable, and you can get a small appetizer plus a housemade drink (I would highly recommend the yuzu limeade) along with a ramen for just $24. I would say that the appetizers tasted even better than the ramen from my experience, and I really like the karaage and gyoza. Best part of all is the dessert they offer, you may choose from three types of tofu doughnuts. They ran out of the ginger honey and yuzu curd selections, but my boyfriend and I were able to try the blueberry compote with ice cream and it was delectable. We definitely want to come back and sample other things in the menu. Service was friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the seats are way too close. My partner and I had a nice corner seat but then people who were coughing got seated beside us, I would have asked for us to be moved if there were more tables available. Overall I really enjoyed my time here, though.
