The house chips were burnt and tasted like carbon.
The service was great! Thanks to the server.. the food is a bit overrated and overpriced in my opinion. It is alright for a simple and quick basic meal.
Usually have lunch meetings here. Food is pretty good. Like going her for the outdoor patio and it’s not as busy during the week. Our waitress was really nice and inviting. The old lady that sat us down had a nasty attitude. Her face is not welcoming. Thankful for the nice waitresses on staff because I thought leaving. If she’s the owner she needs to stay in back if her face is going to be tore up like it was.
Great service and very good food. Their signature cocktails are also very good, varied, and reasonably priced enough to try a couple! Highly recommend the Kickin Chicken sandwich, not too spicy at all, and the Afton Berry cocktail tastes like I imagine purple would taste. BBQ Chicken Skillet was good too, and a ton of food. The red skin in the potatoes overpowered them a little (but try a little salt and pepper and they are just fine)!
Tonight my boyfriend and I had Ryan as our server and he was awesome! It looked like he had plenty of tables on the patio but was still very attentive and very kind. The food and cocktails were delicious as well. We will definitely be back.
The food was actually pretty good. I had read some reviews , so I expected it. The atmosphere was nice, but the service was a little slow. But the food wasn't cold, so I can't complain too much. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I plan on going back and trying something different. It's definitely worth returning to.
Second time dining here on the patio, and it was fabulous. Good service, good food, and beautiful weather. Thursday drink specials from the tap. When you come, you just feel like lingering over libations and conversation, as the ambiance is welcoming.
We enjoyed our time together and dinner at Afton Tavern. I loved the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and fries. The best part was the cookie skillet that the whole family shared. Eating outside under the patio was fun. Thank you for the great experience. We will be back soon!
The waitress was really nice! She made the best Bahama Mama Cocktail ever drink that paired very well with the Boom Boom Shrimp! The shrimp was crispy, succulent, and the added sauce was a bang! This is a nice little getaway to unwind. They have a fireplace outside to keep you warm on those chilly nights.
