One star is too many. Zac the "mechanic" is, hands down, unequivocally, the worst mechanic I have ever had to deal with. I had to return my vehicle to his shop THREE times to finally get the problem fixed, each time having to have it towed to his location. The third time I had it towed was because he failed to fix the problem properly and, no, he didn't offer to pay for the tow. After that, my vehicle sat in his lot for FOUR months before he finally fixed it. (Said it took him that long to find the part). The icing on the cake is that he was miffed that he had to air up a tire that had gone flat after sitting 4 months...and even worse, he insisted on charging $100 for holding my vehicle 4 months and for something that eventually was his fault. Gee, l wonder what happened to the similar post I left here several months ago?
A friend of mine had this so called “mechanic” work on his truck, it has been in the shop for over a year now. No work ethic or communication. Every time he tried to call to check up on it he would decline and text “I’ll call you back later” and never does. The price keeps going up for stuff he never asked him to fix. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
I see in the comments a lot of people have had the same problems that we experienced.. our car was not fixed correctly so we brought it back and they said they would get to it on Wednesday and have it done and it ended up being a week an half later before it was fixed. They wouldn't answer calls or text and ended up tearing into something they were not asked to do. They charged us an arm and leg for work we didn't tell them to touch. We were very disappointed and will never go back!
Had a close friend go here to get a power steering pump replaced they told her it was a water pump when obviously the power steering didn't work. Still has the same issues the car has sat there for over a month and she was getting help paying for it to be fixed AGAIN the guy never returned calls or answered the phone and didn't have 5 minutes to write a email so it could be done. Unprofessionally handled I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. And now I'm here trying to jump a car that's sat dead for over a month. After she asked him to start it periodically and he promised he would. Terrible business not worth the hassle take your vehicle somewhere else.
Had repairs done. Was promised it would take a week. A week goes by and it wasn't ready. We had to make phone calls constantly to find out when it would be ready. Communication is terrible. My car was there for 3 weeks for a transmission replacement. I wouldn't recommend or go back for that matter. Not professional at all. Especially finding my seats had shoe prints on them.
Zack did exactly as he promised in working on my truck. He took time to explain what the work entailed, as well.
The above was my first and best experience.
Most recent work has been very disappointing. Zack left the door panel loose on my car and the screws inside the driver's door loose, resulting in the driver's window becoming stuck down AGAIN...Worst of all, refusing to take responsibility.
If I could give them a zero, I would. I have not only received bad service, but a friend of mine has also used him numerous times and is now done with. They had done a cylinder head replacement on a kia soul and they SILICONED the head so much, that the silicone clogged an oil port and burnt up the motor. Another story, is they rebuilt a truck motor; two days after the truck blows up. HERE'S THE PROBLEM: THEY DIDN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF ANY OF IT!!! THEY JUST DENIED EVERYTHING. DO NOT GO HERE!
