I'm so disappointed in the service I received today. I usually go to the lady second to last seat all the way in the back by the bathroom. I get box braids regularly and tip $20-$30 but today I wanted cornrows. I made sure to ask the bread if she knew how to do cornrows because I know some braiders only do box braids. She told me she knew how to do it and had me sit down with her sister next to her to get the back of my hair started. After 2 hours I sat down with her to get the cornrows only for her to do two cornrows horribly. I wish I took a picture but she quickly took them out when I told her I did not like them. The cornrows were crooked and bulging in all the wrong places. I won't be returning again.
I love Janet's work, I have been a loyal customer for over 31 yrs.. She is an phenomenal person and when it comes doing my hair is always right on point. Janet is a hair professional, that you can just sit there and let her work her magic, and you will always come out looking like a star. If you sit in her chair I promise you will never be disappointed, but astonish, by what exceptional job she does.
Don’t waste your money coming here, they are very rude and unprofessional. They’re always trying to argue with you about the hair style you want or the person want to braid the hair. Also very dirty. Camara is literally the WORST, and her work is a hit or miss. Hawa is also very unreliable, she would give you a time to come in and have you either wait for long or ask another braider to do your hair. Definitely not worth the stress, do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.
I absolutely love my hair!! She was quick, professional, sweet, and funny. I will definitely let her do my braids when I visit again.
That 1 star was incorrect. Laoussa did my hair again. I love just like I did the previous 3 times she did my hair. I'm comfortable with her and she answers her phone when you call her. If she doesn't right away she will call you back. The price is reasonable and that's great. I will be calling her again to do my hair for the fall time
I called around 5pm to ask if I could come in for two cornrows with no added hair. Alima told me to come in and so I did. When I got there one of the braiders started right away. She did the style I desired and was very nice. As other reviewers said, this salon stays open late, which is nice for those of us with busy schedules all week. Par contre, les Tatas arrêtez de crier et parler sur les têtes des clientes svp, c'est pas professionel du tout.
I loved my hairdo, but I didn't appreciate the fussing about who did my hair the last time and where did I sit. At the end, the woman who did my hair tried to increase the price that we agreed to. That's not good business practice.
I can't remember the lady's name who did my faux locs but I got so many compliments due to the hairstyle. I will definitely go back!
