It was an excellent experience for someone traveling thru the area. The server was having some issues with a table she was serving, but someone stepped in to get us started. Both were charming and put up with my light-heartedness and smiled genuinely, despite any feelings carrying over from the difficult table. Food was excellent and well prepared. Plenty of space for parking and between tables.
To say the oysters were amazing is an understatement. The “Off Bottom” they offer is nothing short of amazing. 20/10 recommend. I honestly hope I’m sent back to this area for work again soon. They are so full of flavor. A gentlemen came out and asked how everything was, I told him it was great and was visiting from out of town. He asked if I’d like a regular one to sample and compare, so he gave me their normal oyster to try. It was very good as well, and a little more plump. But the flavor of the off bottom just explodes in your mouth. The fried crab claws were also top notch. If you are visiting and looking for amazing oysters, go there immediately.

Delicious! I was here Saturday night around 6p. Izzie was our server and she was great. I got the medley and my husband got the seafood étouffée with crawfish added. We were both happy with our meals. Oh! We also got craw paws or crawfish hush puppies—they were very good too. We’ll definitely be back.
1/2 po boy 1/2 soup combo was very good! Shrimp etouffee felt like a home cooked meal. Got the large. The service was so fast on Friday afternoon at lunch time and there was easy parking!
I often stop by here on my cross-country travels. I usually just order the chargrilled oysters. On my most recent trip my dad says he was really happy with his gumbo and pleased it came with a scoop of rice. Very sustaining. I also get a 1/2 and 1/2 sweet:unsweetened tea- and ask them to send one with me to go. My food is always quick and delicious. Then I head over to Trader Joe’s across the parking lot to get road snacks.
Best fried shrimp and fish I've had in a very long time. Potato salad was great too!
Hands down best chargrilled oysters! The oysters are fresh, large, and chargrilled to perfection. They are dressed in unique toppings that’s not listed on the menu but ask the cooks about them! The customer service was phenomenal the restaurant was clean and the energy was positive!
Went after the Wearin' Green Parade. The service was impeccable and all the food was delicious. We ordered the butter beans, fried shrimp platter and shrimp po boy. The best oysters!! The pecan praline desert was delicious. My least favorite dish was The New Orleans Medley, not good at all.
