This was my first time here and I enjoyed every minute of it. We were seated quickly and food came out with no wait and it was four of us total. We tried the dip sampler and it was served with pork skins. This was new to us but it was a amazing. I ordered the enchilada and taco which is served with rice and beans. Out of all restaurants I have visited this was the best enchilada I had ever eaten. Not to mention you can order off the lunch menu all day. Next time I’m in Myrtle Beach I will definitely be back!
First time here and for Mexican food it was ok. I do not recommend getting queso out the ground meat queso due to how heavy and how much flour is added to the point I can taste it. I ordered the Mexican soup in a bowl but it was really small? My husband ordered a big plate and he enjoyed it. The platters are big and can be shared. Overall it was nice trying them out and the server was ok.
One of the great things is the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you see the statue of Augustyn de la Rosa and the massive mural in the dining room.
Mrs Wally got the Sangria. I got a beer. There is a cocktail menu and a few can and draft beer selections.
We got the chicken Quesadilla and chicken Nachos. Both were excellent and loaded with flavor. Lots of meat and toppings on the nachos.
Waitress was very friendly and helpful.
Definitely going back when we return to Myrtle Beach.
Beautiful building! Very tasty food. Not your everyday Mexican restaurant. We stopped in for lunch and I just had the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and a margarita. Wow! My husband had two chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Food and service were wonderful! We'll definitely be back.
Food was excellent. Server was awesome. It is a little pricey but worth it for the amount of food you get. The Queso was outstanding. Definitely recommend.
The food was so good. The place is beautifully decorated. Waite staff was very helpful and friendly. I am definitely going back.
We came with a large party and they had table for us but we wanted to watch the ball game on TVs and the only place that had TVs was the bar. We moved to the bar. The waitress seemed irritated and said we were giveming her a head ache bc we were all separate checks.
The salsa and chips was the best thing. Their salsa Verde was sweet, taste like pineapple juice in it. It was good. We had to ask for drink refills, we got our own chip and salsa refills. They brought out everyone's food expect one person. She waiting forever and it never came out and the waitress never returned in a timely manner to ask her where it was. We had to get out of our chair and walk around the bar to ask the bar tender. The bar tender went and check and came back out and said they were just starting it! When the food finally came out, we asked the waitress why didn't it come with other food and she said it got lost in the order.
Overall food was below average. The Quesadilla looked like a fried egg, the chicken in the enchiladas and burritos was dry. The tamales were dried out. The drinks look good but not to expectations.
Got the Reynosa Salad with shredded chicken and it was this amazing concoction of beans, chicken, lettuce, tons of cheese, and guacamole! It was the best salad I've had from a Mexican restaurant - that tortilla bowl it came in was magnificent! The chips and salsa were amazing, and the mixture of salsas they give you are perfectly flavored and just have a nice punch or offer a neat little sweetness. Service was top notch and have no complaints there at all.
