Today I ordered the cheese, fish grits, with Cuban toast. Well no cheese on the grits, Cuban toast could have been better. The only item that was edible was the Cuban sandwich. At this point after ordering, a few years from Abella’s I’m done.
Sadly I didn’t get any pics but it is kind of tucked out of the way the ladies were very friendly and the food was bomb!!!
Family of 4 shared one large Cuban sandwich tried it with mayo lettuce and tomato… rather just get pickle and mustard next time, and a meal of chicken, rice and black beans which comes with onions tomato and lettuce and a piece of bread.
So good!!!
I been going here since 1991 food has always been delicious still drove a far distance just to get food again ????
What a genuinely friendly family restaurant. Excellent breakfast, cafe con leche, and delicious sandwiches. They know what customer value is and how to treat people well. Even with the challenges of inner city these are very kind people.

Been eating at Abella's for over 30 years. Even though they have switched owners, the food is still great.
