I called Tabou around 6pm on Thursday looking to book an appointment for box braids, and she was able to get me scheduled for that Friday morning. Her sister promptly started on my hair once I arrived then, Tabou arrived shortly after and begin braided by my hair and I was done in about 4 hours. I was very pleased with my hair, and I absolutely loved how nice and welcoming she and her sister were. The suite was very clean and organized, and I loved everything about my appointment from start to finish. I will definitely be recommending my friends and family to book with her. Thank you again!
Tabou and her team are wonderful! 10/10. It is clear that Tabou takes pride in her business and she is very professional. Great prices and great service. I was in and out in 3 hours!!!! I will definitely be back.
This is the best braiding shop I've been to and I've been to plenty in a few different states. I was looking for a shop that could do yarn braids. I saw this shop had great reviews and everyone commented on how nice Tabou was. When I called I was instantly greeted with warmth and kindness. I explained to Tabou what I wanted and even though she never did yarn braids before she was willing to take a look at my hair, the yarn, and try. When I got there Mary got right to work. She said she was fine with the yarn, she just wanted to make sure she could grip my hair. For reference my hair is about 2-2.5 inches. Mary was very kind and quick. Then Tabou showed up to help Mary with my hair. The shop was clean and calm with a pleasent atmosphere which means a lot. I would definitely return!!!!
The owner was very polite. She actually assessed my hair and recommended the hair style for my head. I could tell she wanted something that would benefit me. Her prices are great and I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a braided style. I know I will be going back.
Love this place! Tabou is the sweetest. She provides the hair or gives you suggestions if you want to use your own hair. She is also quick and efficient.
Prices are a little high but you pay for quality
If you are looking for a quick, professional and very nice braider, this is your place. I just moved to NC from out of state and was looking for a braider and reading reviews. The ladies here are very affordable, other braiders were charging at least $50 more for the same style. I had an appt for a Saturday at 9 but wanted more than 1 person braiding bc I hate sitting for long periods of time. I was allowed to come in that Friday after getting off and she had 3 people braiding and they started about 7:00p and braided until about 11p and when I came in Saturday only the ends needed to be finished. They are very nice and make sure that they provide an outstanding service. I’m so happy I found my new and permanent hair braider.
Tabou’s sister met me at the shop and started right away. Her hands were magic!! At one point, I had to question if she was even braiding my hair because I couldn’t feel a thing! Tabou joined her a little while after and helped to complete the job. It took them approximately 4 hours to complete small(ish) knotless braids. I love the outcome! I love this studio!
I definitely had one of the best experiences with this establishment.. I was given a same day appointment. Tabou is friendly, fast, efficient and the environment was peaceful.. My hair is exactly what I asked for and she went above and beyond to make sure of that... I will be going back.
