I’ve been coming here for over 8 years religiously to both locations in Carle Place and Hicksville for my eyebrows and upper lip. They’re friendly, attentive, and clean. My sister and mom go as well. I’ve brought family and friends. Great service. The owner Shamsha and team have all been wonderful. I usually walk in and see anyone.
I went to this location last minute to get my eyebrows done and the lady who did my brows made one of my eyebrows thin after I told her I didn’t want thin, just shape. She left my eyebrows super uneven and when I told her that she took too much hair off instead of hearing me out she kept rolling her eyes and telling me it’s my eyebrows. You can see how much hair is taken off of my eyebrows because my skin is lighter where the hair was. When I asked to speak with the owner she refused to tell me who the owner was and the phone number for her she just pointed in a general direction on a piece of paper, I had to ask another woman in the shop for the information. When I asked for the woman’s name who did my eyebrows she just smirked and said Ember so I don’t even know if that’s her real name. Aside from her botching my eyebrows she was just very disrespectful, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this shop after my experience.
I used to give this place regular business, until several years ago, when I received unexpected and unwarranted attitude from a lady who had never done my threading before. Although I went there about once a month, I didnt really know names, just familiar faces, that were friendly. I went there beacause I was always satisfied with my brows, until that day, several years ago. I was so profoundly turned off by the woman's demeanor, I decided I would not go back.
Recently, I was in the area. I opted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and stopped by to have my brows threaded. I should have bolted when I saw the unwelcoming look on the ladies face when I walked in. She pointed to a chair for me. I instantly felt like I had made a terrible mistake. By the time she was done with my brows, it was clear, I had. The job she did was HORRIBLE!!!! My 3 year old niece could have done it better with a magic marker. I looked at this woman in shock, unable to comprehend what she thought she did. Though close to speechless, I found the words to request a touch up. She was immediately defensive. I remained calm and polite, but firmly asked her to please fix. I wanted to tell her it looked like Sh@t and she needs to put her threads down permanently. It's been so long since my last visit, I honestly don't remember the face of the lady I encountered on my last visit. Was this her or a runner up?? The lady on the recent visit.... I can only sum her up as unprofessional and sloppy with an unwelcoming and combative disposition. She eventually cleaned it up, but it still looked tacky. After this visit, TRUST, I will NEVER be back!
I don't know her name, but my words of advice are FIX YOUR NASTY ATTITUDE AND TAKE A MUCH NEEDED COURSE ON BROW DESIGN. Clients have a right to express concern if they are not pleased with what they see, as an end result, especially when they are PAYING for the service. Slap a smile on that sour face, when people come in to spend their hard earned dollars, especially when they demonstrate politeness and class, despite your far from stellar threading skills!
Mother in law introduced me to this salon, absolutely love it! Will always return. I don’t trust many people with my eyebrows but all techs never fail me here.

I’m originally from Manhattan and have been to many threading places, but this is by far the best. They take their time perfecting your brows. Highly recommend
