I really wanted to come on here and post a good review, and as far as my transmission, after the rebuild and 1000 miles it operates as it should.
They did however forget to put the plugs back into the bell-housing access holes allowing water to come in. Not a big deal but disappointed someone didn’t do their do-diligence.
My biggest concern is that now my rear main seal is damaged from removing the transmission. It was previously replaced prior to the rebuild approximately 2000 miles. And had no sign of error or leakage what so ever prior to the trans rebuild.
I was initially very happy with this transaction because of how quick it was done. But now I feel like if more time was spent on it, the quality of the repair would be better.
Again I really wanted to leave a good review because I feel as though this might have been an accidental mishap, and not common practice.
I’ve been dealing with car issues for the past 4 months — failing parts and a bad mechanic. Mike (the owner), Jon (front desk), and the mechanics took great care of my car to get it back on the road when other mechanics couldn’t. Mikes crew removed an old part, had me return it to get a new part under warranty saving me hundreds.
With such great service, timely, and a fair price — I hope to be a customer for life. 5/5 star rating isn’t high enough rating for the service Mike and his crew provided!
This is shop is just absolutely amazing. The guys working here are all nice and they seem like they actually care about their customers. I've had to get my trans pan, oil pan, and control arms all replaced, they have done a perfect job every time, no issues, much quicker than any other shop when it comes to getting your car in and out. Their prices are extremely fair, compared to the other shops i have gotten estimates from, A1 has probably saved me about $1000 at this point.
If I could give them more stars I would, they went above and beyond what they had to do.
I took my van in to get the trans rebuilt. Not only was that done, they also changed out a cooling hose and fixed a couple broken wires that they found and they didn't have to do more than what was needed. It's an honest place and that's rare anymore.
These guys are hard working and genuinely want to do a good job. they care about customers and when my wife called to get an update when I was busy at work they talked to her like she was their mother or sister. She told me how polite and respectful they were, not only will I be a long time customer of theirs they also have my respect.
My brother and I were recommended by his gf's family and A1 did not disappoint! As a woman I am always worried about taking my car into places by myself – if you know, you know. John and Mike are very knowledgeable and are always kind to answer any questions I have. Everyone at this auto shop provides excellent service and they are the most honest shop I’ve come across in the industry. They also have reasonable pricing. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone we know!
Brought my 2016 Kia Soul in to get the alternator repaired. They got it done in the timeframe they told me, which was a 24 hour turnaround. I’m very happy with my decision to go there. Fast, friendly, and fair pricing.

Needed the car for work on Monday and let them know. They worked until 830 2.5 hours after close to get my wife’s car to her on a Friday night so she could use it for work on Monday. The best possible customer service.
