I love my tattoo that I got but the start he will put without consent, he's literally branding you of his place. And he talks bad about other tattoo parlors and your tattoo the you have.
A Tattoo Johns Texas Tattoo is the most unprofessional tattoo shop I have been to. I walked in and the thermostat was on 79°, which should’ve been my first red flag. The man working, I’m assuming his name is John, was examining my tattoos that I got done at Spirit House and told me how “unsanitary” their establishment is, meanwhile his pet bird was squawking in the next room. I have only ever gotten compliments and awes on my artwork done at Spirit House. John proceeded to ask me if my tattoos were coverups (none of them are) and told me he would never tattoo someone’s hand because it’s “unprofessional” while staring at my hand tattoo. He then asked where I worked and was saying how I will never get a job anywhere else. Commenting on someone’s outward appearance, especially when that’s his field of work, was extremely uncalled for. When I grabbed my license, John followed me out to my car and when I told him to leave me alone, he left and came back to my car, calling me “love” and “honey.” His comments made me very uncomfortable and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless they are looking to get harassed.
I've never been tattooed at this shop, nor have I actually been to the shop. Instead I was approached at Walmart and solicited because I already have tattoos. John inquired about my work and who had done it and then proceeded to imply I had overpaid and put myself in risk of health issues due to airborne exposure in other shops. I simply politely nodded and smiled and thanked him as he brandished his business card and asked me to come see him. Having used my artist for years, I had no intention of following up, BUT he then approached me a second time and went back into his spiel likening being tattooed elsewhere to being operated in the ER waiting room with all of the other patients simultaneously. I've had enough friends walk away from this shop with work that they weren't pleased with that I never intended to visit it anyway, but the unsolicited pushy approach cemented that feeling. Had it simply been a single approach and a positive message for his shop only, I would've written it off as professional pride. A second approach and the need to instead try to paint other artists in a negative light that led to my review.
Didn’t get a tattoo but still trying to save people from making the mistake of coming here. I walked up the door had an “I’m here!” Sign so i walked in and was immediately hit with the nastiest smell i think I’ve ever smelled. The whole place smelled like wet dirty dogs X100. And then a man screamed at me to get out because it was closed despite the sign and unlocked door. But this place is absolutely disgusting dirty and the people are straight up mean. Don’t waste your time coming here.
idk what all these other comments are talking about but this place is trash. it looks very unsanitary I'm pretty sure we've all had the same needles put to our skin. he puts a star within the tattoo so people knows he did it, the color fades and mine blistered up and got infected that night. his lines aren't straight if you really look at them and is gun is homemade I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy
I received bad quality ink and a bad botched tattoo. Think twice!!! And the sentence you see saying good price for good tattoo on reviews..they also took my review and posted the first sentenc because it sounded good but didnt include the rest of the review. I was told a good price for a good tattoo and instead got bad bad job with bad quality ink.
My baby got her nose pierced before school started by Mr. John! Well tonight she decided to change out her nose ring...And low and behold.....We could not get the new one in!!! We rush up to See Mr. John for help....And He got her squared away in just 2 minutes!!!! Thank You AGAIN Mr. John, you saved the night and My baby girls emotions!
So five years ago I go and get a tattoo from here. I thought the star was his own little trade mark to show he did it. Five years later I found out it is kkk symbol that was tattooed on me. That's what that star is. If I have to spend my last penny getting this covered I will. And it turned a beautiful phrase into something I now despise. And I'll make sure everyone knows what it means. And will never settle for cheap again.
