This was my first time stopping at A & Sons auto electric. I was having problems with my battery running down if I didn’t drive my car for a couple of days.
I had had the battery checked, and was told it was fine but the problem continue.
I went by several auto mechanics, telling them my problem and each one of them said they would charge me $125-$200 an hour to diagnose the problem .
Still looking for a better price I stop by A & Sons and told them the problem I was having and instead of quoting me a price to troubleshoot my problem he said, let me check the battery again and you,know what? The battery was bad.
He quoted me a price of $200 with a three-year warranty for another Battery
I check prices with AutoZone, O’Reilly’s and Napa auto parts, and he was in line and better than some with his price. Now my problem is fixed and I’ll be going back for service when needed.
I brought my car in for new struts and motor mounts about a year ago, and the issues never really resolved. If anything my car developed new noises that would progressively get worse and when I would bring it up to Andres’s attention; he of course never heard anything and assured me it was fine. I finally got tired of him gaslighting me so I took it to someone else and everything he had worked was stripped n broken. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he also stripped the nut to my transmission fluid pan and now that has to be replaced as well. I literally want to cry!!! Don’t take your car there, no matter how cheap his work is, it’s not worth it in the long run! You may not notice right away, but eventually it will cost you.
I chose not to use them after speaking to them on the phone and reading the reviews. He kept stressing to me that it could take awhile to find the problem and could get expensive. The shop that did do the work, did it quickly and affordably.
Took my car at the beginning of the pandemic, so I understood there would be delays with shipping and everything but after 3 months he hadn’t even come close to repairing my car, claimed he couldn’t find parts... I have a 95 Ford Mustang 5.0, there’s literally a plethora of parts available. Basically charged me to store my car for three months. Would not recommend to anyone
I was skeptical about bringing my car here but I am so glad I did. I was having trouble with the AC & had already taken it to several places knowing it needed repairing & no one could figure out what the problem was. All of the places I had gone to wanted to service it first & charge me separate for repairs. Here Andres the mechanic was able to find the problem quick & charged me almost the same thing that other places wanted to charge me & that was just to service it, not repair it, which was seperate & couldn't afford... I am very happy I came here...
Worst experience ever this place kept my car for no reason for two days mind you i had brung the car in last friday and he told me he did not have time to fix it after he kept it all day and charged me 65$ and when i came back this friday he kept it all weekend and told me it was done friday he just did not call me why i dont know he is not good at his job and he is robbing people blind. He breaks more then he can actually fix. Negitive stars from this coustomer find a better place to fix your car if you dont want disappointment.
The owner couldn't fix my car with an electrical problem, charged me $150.00 and afterwards won't even take a look at the problem, I will give him negative stars if possible.
Stay away from this place!
This place is the worst place to go they unprofessional saying my car was done the day i dropped it off a friday but didnt call me until monday when i had work they also broke my driver side door nd didnt fix it
