I had the famous original big beef sandwich combo. If you’re looking for that 1990s corn beef sandwiches where we use to make two/three sandwiches from one. Get the thought out your head???? this is a one-man show that I did enjoy .
Been coming for years (40+) same place (vintage look if u bougie send some1 else in) same taste same line same extras (chips cracklings penny 25 cent plus now candy ????) great conversation from old heads..huge part of the black culture..the large corn beef still last me 2 days $16 worth it..(don't order the Jr you'll b mad)
The man who took my order was extremely nice and helpful! I had the longest day ever and he made my day even better with his great customer service!!!! And the food is fye! Also the Carmel cakes are a bomb! Yall need to give that man a raise!!!
I ordered 2 hoagies an I asked the cashier are they fresh she said yes. Them hoagies were old the bread was old it was broken apart and the meat was horrible I went to the toilet after 2 bites . Never again it was a waste of $13
MY FIRST TIME BACK HERE SINCE BEING A KID..... THE CORNED BEEF IS STILL EVERYTHING. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE PERSON THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS AMAZING. SHE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, PATIENT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. GREAT JOB AP
My mother ordered corned beef sandwiches, hoagies and a wing tray for Christmas Eve dinner on December 17th. When she picked up the order on Christmas Eve, she received the corned beef sandwiches (she ordered these); a corned beef platter (she didn't order this) and no hoagies (she ordered these).
When she called to let them know about the error with the platter, the manager said that they couldn't take the platter back but didn't offer anything to correct it. She asked about a wing tray, he said that she could only get 10 wings and she would have to pay for them.
The manager said he took her order to the car. Mom admitted that she didn't look at the order at that time because the person who took the order confirmed that the order was good, and she had never had problems with orders before.
Needless to say, that put a damper on the dinner and my mother's spirit. She enjoys the food but the manager's refusal to correct the mistake is bad business and she'll be going other places that offer better customer service.
I think they’re solid. I ordered a big beef corned beef sandwich with Swiss cheese, mustard, mayo on rye. I wish it was a big bigger but it’s still good.
I craved an AP corned beef sandwich, and it was good. They are made smaller than they used to be but still tasty.
