I'm giving 5 stars because I went on Tues. May 30 and the guy behind the counter was amazing. He was so friendly and attentive. It's the little things. He offered to let me pick my slice of caramel cake. Overall staff was friendly. Corn beef is very good. Next time I will get easy mustard or no mustard at all. This place is cash only. Oh and the caramel cake is delicious not sure who made it but we will definitely be back. I forgot to take a pic of the cake.
The young lady working that day I went was very rude and not customer friendly. The food is always delicious but sometimes the service that is given makes the food not worth getting. I’ve been eating A.P.Deli for over 42 years. I might have to take my business to one of the other locations, because I felt disrespected, and mad that business think that treating customers badly won’t affect their business because the food is good. I just want to say that it’s totally wrong.
All fat! Hardly any beef and why is this sandwich so small if it’s supposed to be a big beef! I’ll just drive to Chicago to the original location from now on. Totally disappointed.
I remember that when you got enough meat to make two more good si-e sandwiches. Now you might a well eat the sandwich without trying to make another one out of the meat you get these days. Yet these sandwiches still are delicious.
I haven't been here in about 4 or 5 years because I live 3 hours away, but the corn beef sandwich is still DELICIOUS.
They are the worst. I call in they said 20 minutes. I get there, and waiting while waiting two people comes in, and order the same thing I called in for, and they get they order, and I still have to wait another 10 minutes. Don't call in just walk in and order. The man that's taking the money. Took the money, and left the register didn't put on no gloves, and grabbed the fries, and put them in the fryer.
Good spot for an excellent corned beef sandwich. I look forward to exploring the other options
didn’t know I had to ask for rye bread it’s been a few months since i’ve been, but don’t remember having to ask for rye. What’s a corn beef with out rye bread??Disappointed , because I didn’t get an option.
