Best WLM Reviews

Had a great time at this authentic Ukrainian restaurant! The food was delicious, very cosy atmosphere and kind staff!
As a big extra, the family running the restaurant is part of an organization that supports Ukraine. From selling souvenirs and products, to providing food and other supplies for people fighting the war. So not only do you get to eat nice food and have a great experience, you're also helping a great cause. A win-win!
1) Only cash payment. Don't worry, if you don't have it. There is ATM right next to the restaurant
2) Since it was cold in Arlon, best thing is to eat borsch and xhingali, which none of them disappointed! Both of them were very delicious
I liked the overall vibe. It is cosy, quiet and nice Ukrainian songs in the background.
3) Owner is very nice and was able to communicate with us In English. Other than ordering, l am glad to have little chat with him and know stories behind the restaurant and his life.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
Food was ok but it was lacking the taste. There were many places available as we were the only ones in the restaurant on Saturday morning but the waiter insisted that we need to take a seat the the table with 2 chairs instead of 4 chairs.
Place was nicely rustically decorated but that was all.
You will be welcomed in a small dining room by the owner and his wife. You will immediately feel welcomed, and the owner will make you at ease, talking with heart and passion about his love for Ukraine and its delicious food.
The menu is simple and short, but that is the hint for a great cuisine.
And indeed, we weren't disappointed.
The food tasted marvelously good. Everything was seasoned perfectly.
We had the Pierogi and the Varenyky (shared for 3, 1 plate is enough as the main dish), and then the Marmite Ukrainienne (very flavourful broth with potatoes, carrots and meat).
It has been a very nice discovery, and I can't wait to go back to taste the other dishes.
I was there last year.
Disappointing. At some point we even heard a sound coming from the kitchen most likely resembling the bell of a microwave.
Cozy place serving traditional Ukrainian food. Big portions. Good selection of vines and beers. Friendly owner always ready to crack a joke.
The best stroganoff I've ever tasted, in a very friendly, relaxed family-run restaurant. Couldn't recommend more!
I went to this restaurant last week and it was very dissapointing. First of all the atmosphere was not very inviting, as some other customers were being very loud and rude. The owner seemed too relaxed about taking my order, and he seemed like he didn't care. Addionally he was whistling throughout the whole meal, which was very off-putting. I called ahead to make a reservation, but when I showed up nothing was set up or prepared.
The food is not good and I did not receive what I ordered. The borscht was not fresh, and tasted like it came out of a can. There was no potatoes or meat in the borscht, which is disrespectful as it is quite expensive. The dumplings that I ordered was supposed to be filled with lamb meat, but it was not lamb. It was an unknown meat.
All in all I would not recommend this place as it does not offer any authentic Ukrainian food. And even if you order something, it is not what is advertised in the menu.
A waste of money and do not bother going there.
