Had them re-build a transmission on my 66 Chevelle. I am VERY careful about who I let work on my vehicle. They not only took care of my project in a timely manner, but it was done correctly. Had some issues come up that they were more than reasonable in taking care of. I will send my friends and family to A&L without hesitation.

A+ I came home to a puddle of transmission fluid under my truck and they were able to take a look at it the same day. Kevin easily found the issue and had it fixed (me back on the road) in no time at all.

I needed a replacement transmission for my project 1972 Nova, and these guys did a fantastic job of rebuilding one and installing it as well. They also gave me some pointers on what I did incorrectly when I tried it myself. It's always nice to find mechanics you can trust, and they definitely have my business now.

Excellent place, the owner knows his stuff and as it happens has a heart and more to who he is than money. He's also one of the best transmission guys I've ever run accross. Staff will make time to help you with your needs and the bathroom is super clean. I judge a business by the culture it keeps with its environment and neighbors. When it snows his shop is one of the few that make sure their city sidewalk is shoveled for pedestrians. Walmart doesn't even do that! I would never take my car anywhere else.

I've taken 2 vehicles in to A&L I couldn't be more happy with the results. It's rare this day in age to run into a shop you can fully trust and with Don and crew you definitely can. I sent my wife down with shifter issues and Don went above and beyond to get her quickly , safely, and affordable back on road. I highly recommend them
