Fantastic small Mexican market with a little bit of everything. Hot foods, meat deli, produce, pan dulce (Mexican bread), variety of drinks, groceries, and some delicious strips of chicarrón (pork grinds). A few weeks ago, I came in for some pan dulce and drinks. Today, I had a chicken and asada (steak) taco. The asada and chicken were tender and moist, served with a chile torneado (roasted chile) and red salsa.
My very first time at this market, they have fresh meat and fresh vegetables along with canned goods and Mexican bread they also serve food there I finally found a Mexican maket where I can pick up a few things without waiting in a long line.
The owner is very RACIST. He came following me to my car. The ladies are rude and make fun of some customers. I am local to this area and I have never seen this type of behavior in my life. Absolutely disappointed, and don’t suggest you supporting a racist store, apart of the that the prices are not reasonable.
Over priced, very rude female staff, and they steal your change. Twice, they didn’t give me my full change amount and the second time that happened, I asked for my change. The female cashier rudely gave me my change and said take it. Like hello, was my money to begin with. Has also happened to my husband multiple times, where he doesn’t get his full change back. I now go to a market in colton, good meat, friendly service, and good prices. Most importantly, they don’t steal your money.
I like the food they serve here I've been coming here for years. It's very convenient for me they sell food, produce, sweet bread, medicine, and I think they also do money orders here. I have not bought raw meat here yet. Sometimes it smells like a freshly killed goat over at the meat section. I know they use their own meats for the food but the finish product tastes great to me. One annoying thing here though is at lot of the times the ladies in the kitchen take too long to make the orders. So they can't handle a crowd of 5+ people very well.
Sunday morning hangover cure, delicious menudo!
Me and my family went there to get sweet bread and we noticed it was hard. We asked if we can trade it and she said no because we touched it with our hands but we used the tongs, anyways we didn’t end up trading it and left with hard bread it’s rock hard. I think they should listen to the costumer when they say something is wrong with the food.
not bad for quick stop on my way home stumbled in this market looking for Mexican torta bread at 3pm and as luck would have it they were just coming out nice and hot took them home and made Turkey tortas bread was so good on point as I walked to the back I noticed what they all sold there and say that they pretty much had everything a super market had but at a smaller scale they even had hot fresh Mexican food smelled really good and the carnitas looked clean and fresh definitely coming back to buy some soon...sorry I ll take pictures next time but everything looked clean and organized not bad for a hidden gem...
