Do not waste your time with this nail salon. When asked upon entry what I wanted, I named that I would like a French full set with colored tips. The manager asked what color and I said pink or blue, but I hadn’t decided yet. I sat down with another technician and she began what I thought would be a lovely manicure. When I noticed the design wasn’t looking as nice as I hoped, I tried to speak up but was disregarded. The manager came to help my technician and I resolve the issue, and she was angry with me as we disagreed on what I asked for versus what I actually got. Upon leaving the nail salon, I couldn’t bring myself to come back to campus with such horrific looking nails. When I asked the manager to just file off the first look and give me a solid blue manicure, she agreed but not without giving me dirty looks. She was extremely rude as she redid my nails. I am college student who just wanted to treat herself before Spring Break, and I’m not in a position to just waste money like this. Please look at the first two pictures I’ve attached; does this look like a manicure worth $60? I would give 0 stars if possible.
What I asked for vs. what I got
I had a gentlemen do mine and it felt very rushed. I asked if someone else could do my daisies and he just rolled his eyes and mumbled something so I just let it go and I’m going to fix it myself at home. Walk-ins are welcome. I got service right away.
I’ve been here twice and the nail service is mediocre! They’re all overall nice people.
I’m not prone to exaggeration, and this is the worst manicure and pedicure I’ve ever had. Not gel, regular polish. Came to get them done for an event this weekend. I pointed out that the polish on my toes looked lumpy, as if the polish were old and dried out. They said it would look fine once the topcoat was applied. It didn’t, but I needed to get on with my day. The polish on my fingernails has bubbles and a similarly lumpy appearance. They didn’t offer me any light or heat assisted drying appliance or quick dry spray. I waited an hour before leaving. They encouraged me to leave, said it should be fine. Toenails are ruined. The fingernails look so sloppy I’m going to remove the polish and try to do it myself. I came to have it done professionally because I normally can’t make it look as nice at home, but in this case, I’m going to end up with a better result, doing it myself at home.
Wife dragged me in here, was a good experience! Niece insisted I get my toes painted pink. ????
Went to this place due to a gift certificate. After calling numerous times to make sure they were open & asking for appointment was told just walk in. Upon walking in was told it’d be five minutes then 20 minutes later other customers walking in were taken leaving me sit there. Worker then tells me we take our appts first. Told her I was told on phone just walk in & was given a rude comment that basically called me a liar. Not impressed with business practices at all. Will not return to use other half of gift certificate.
I got both my hands and feet nails done few days ago and I feel that this one self care time that my future girlfriend will love about me because I am used to mani pedis since my auntie (Rest In Love) I really appreciate the job that the lady who worked with me did especially the cleaning around the nails where the skin is ❤
Towels weren’t clean, didn’t shape nails well and design was amateur, left acrylic in my skin. Also lacking customer service.
Was 5 minutes late and she canceled my appointment without calling. She pretended she called and showed me her phone which said some other random person’s name. At first she said she could only do 1 - mani or pedi - not both because she was having another person she had just called come in in 15 min. Then I said ok, mani, but she said she couldn’t do that. I said ok, pedi, but then she said she couldn’t do that either.
Extremely unprofessional - not how a successful business is run. Very disappointing as she does a good job, but this explains why she has no employees and it’s only the 1 woman who owns the place.
