A professional salon filled with skilled and kind people.... wonder of wonders.
I’m sharing in response to Joseph….. I am sorry for any undesirable outcomes you’ve had in previous experiences but be rest assured that you have the wrong person in your mind concerning anything that occurred at the salon. I have asked and talked with all of the girls here and no one knows of this issue. So we are a bit confused at this point….. I Hope you’ve had a great New Year and if there is anything I can do to be if assistance to you please let me know.
Had the unfortunate experience of dealing with one of the nail technician/stylists of A Cut Abuve Salon (Amy)

She rescheduled after an already agreed upon meeting time.
We agreed upon a set amount for a product. She then shows up, takes the product unannounced and only leaves half the amount of money we had both agreed upon for the item.
Very unhonest business. Hate to see what she does to her own customers.

Known Danielle for years and she has always been excellent! She takes care of my elderly parents, has cut my son's hair from the his 1st one on and does great with mine! My son and I drive from lapeer to see her! All the staff are so kind and the prices are very good!
Danielle was recommended by a family friend for wedding hair styling. I didn't know what I wanted when I initially called Dani so she recommended services that many brides receive. However, I decided to stay natural and Dani made me look beautiful.
I had my first manicure here. Thank you Dani for coaching me through it. Dani recommended vitamins to help support my hair health and loaned mousse to my bridesmaids and I to prep our hair for styling. We looked gorgeous! For my wedding we had a variety of curls, braids, up-dos, and half-up-dos. Dani went the extra mile and asked our florist to make a bouquet in our wedding colors to decorate the salon. She even volunteered to stop by the church to touch up my hairstyle before the wedding if it started falling out (I have very soft hair that doesn't like to hold styles).

I had a pedicure here last week and was completely unimpressed. I am hesitant to get a pedicure done any where because it is very seldom that I am happy with the results, it is difficult to find someone that does quality work!
It did not take any time for me to get in at my scheduled appointment time, so that was good. The massage chair was also nice. I let employee know that I was getting a pedicure because my feet are very dry and rough on the bottom and I am hoping she can help me start to get them in better shape. I also let her know I was on my lunch break.
The whole thing took a full hour (which I expected), and that was only because the employee talked almost the whole time. I had to rush her at the end. She was not one to do well with talking and working at the same time, either. She would stop and get into her conversation while staring up at me. I did not want to be rude and cut her off, but I was getting very frustrated.
The pedicure itself was not great, in any aspect. It was like she was afraid to really put some work into it. By the end of it, my feet were coated in a massive amount of lotion... but just as coarse and dry as before. The polish chipped the very next day. The polish she removed had been from a pedicure from a month prior, and had barely chipped at all. I would have been better off leaving that on.
I will DEFINITELY NOT be going here for a pedicure again. :(
Zero stars. ???? Not happy @ all with this place! Came all the way from Lapeer to take my grandma for a manicure for her birthday. We even called and said we were running a few minutes late to see if that was okay, and the lady said yes. We got there and she told us she didn't have enough time reserved for us so she could only do one of us or we could come back. Personally, I feel she should've at least tried to paint them or something. There were 3 employees sitting around talking. They were the only ones in there. It isn't like they were busy. Safe to say I will never go there again!
