I drive a 2010 Honda odyssey, which has been an amazing vehicle for me. After a fender-bender, a couple of boulder collision shops estimated the cost to repair my car at $8000+, which meant the vehicle was totaled.
Buying a new car is not part of my plan, so I found my way to mike, he helped me identify what needed to be replaced (the bumper, which was quite clearly ruined, and the headlights, that had less-obvious holes in them), what could be fixed (the dented fender), and what didn’t neee to be touched (my horn — it works fine but has a small crack and the other shops were going to replace).
Once we agreed on the job, he turned it around in a week when other shops estimated a month. He was communicative via email and phone throughout and got my car back on the road for one-third of the other estimate. My car isn’t fixed “like new,” but it’s 13 years old. It would be foolish to fix it like new.
I’m very happy with the work and service and am glad to give mike 5 stars!
Mike did an outstanding job repairing the damaged hood and bumper cover of my Mazda Miata. The repainted surfaces shine now shine like glass. Mike was personable, polite, and professional. He helped me choose whether to repair or replace the bumper cover, and recommended that I replace it, even though that meant less payment to him. I highly recommend his work.
Mike is hard working, professional, time efficient and great at his job. We missed each other over the damage on my vehicle, and to take full responsibility - I completely blew it, went full Karen, and wrote a bad review. If you read this bad review please dismiss it.
The truth is Mike was actually very patient with me despite my hothead behavior, corrected me politely, and accepted my apology with a kind heart over the phone. He did an amazing job on my families car and I will definitely be taking future vehicles to him again.
I took my car in for an estimate yesterday and found Mike to be very friendly and polite. He was also thorough in his examination of the damage to my car. His estimate of the work to be completed is very fair. I didn't hesitate to book an appointment for my car. I have total confidence in this business!

I have been bringing my car to Mike at A.C. Collision Repair for over 15 years. I feel very fortunate to know him because I consider him to be the best specialist. I trust him at every level: his estimates are more accurate then the ones I've gotten from the insurance apprisers, and insurance company had to agree with Mike's assessment on a few occasions. When I bring my car to Mike's shop I know he'll do the best job, and he'll give me the best price. Once my insurance company directed me to a different shop and I regretted it because they did not do a good job. Since then I tell my insurance that I want to use Mike's shop and they agree to it. As long as Mike is in business I won't take my car anywhere else in Boulder.
t was a wonderful experience working with Mike to repair a huge dent and scratches on my car. His prices, customer service and efficiency were top notch. My Mercedes 450 GL was banged up after hitting a barrier backing out of a parking space. The quotes I received from other shops in town would take more than an month to complete and was TRIPLE what Mike charged me! His work was beautiful and completed in just 2 days! I would HIGHLY recommend going to AC Collision before going to any other shop if you want quality work in a time efficient manner. Note: I recommend you call to set up an appointment first because I did have to return after dropping in unannounced. One reason he gets things done quickly is because he takes deadlines seriously, so will not stop to issue quotes when he’s working on a job. He told me his rating was hurt after he failed to stop working to give another customer a quote on the spot. When you are the customer getting work done, I completely respect this work ethic.
Mike has been fantastic. I was in a car accident and desperate to find a place to have my repairs done quickly to be back on the road. Mike got me in the same day I called him, literally just hours later. He also started work on my car the next day and had it back to me within just 2.5 days. I noticed a noise days after getting my car back, and again Mike fit me in the same day to check it out and was able to diagnose and fix the issue immediately. He also came in under his original estimate to me by several hundred dollars! I have been completely satisfied and impressed by working with Mike on every level and recommend him highly.
Mike did an amazing job on my car! I had hit my passenger mirror on a cement pole and when I took it to VW I was quoted over $550 (without labor costs or taxes) and that it would take a week for the parts to come in!!! I called up Mike and he looked at it and had the parts the next day and completely replaced my mirror. On top of that he also buffed out a big spot on my car that had erroded on the paneling and cleaned up my headlights all for under $450. My car looks absolutely wonderful and I would definitely use Mike again....although I hope I never have to!
