This place was recommended to me it was a little farther to travel but well worth the trip. The machine work to my SBF was spot on. They freed me up some horsepower on my clearances especially Ford crank took to dyno and fly wheel was right at 400hp could not be happier.

Excellent place for repair or rebuilding your automotive engine. BUILDS superior dirt track and other racing engines, has an in-house engine dyno. A&C's been in business since 1996. However before then, Allen started building dirt track engines out of his parents barn in the '70's. In the '80's he got his professional start working at a machine shop then moving on to working at one of the supreme sprint car engine builders (in their hayday). In 1996 he made the move to start out on his own and has built one of the most successful machine shops in the tri-state area (and beyond). Today you can see his team working on/or building, a dirt track engine, monster truck engine, high performance engine, street car engine to doing a variety of different automotive machine work.
Bought a 388 stroker for my 56 chevy, motor runs great and plenty of power, these guys really know there stuff!
